This place is a gem! Wonderful room. Excellent dinners. The owners are especially lovely, they were extraordinarily accommodating and attentive. Cecile made sure I visited the right chateau’s (great spot to stay and see the beauty of these castles) and breakfast was packed carefully for me on the day I went to roam the markets early, while I James helped me find my way to the hotel over the phone, and we had a nice chat on my last night. I’d love to return someday. These people are running the place with their heart, and it’s felt.
My room had a fireplace that wasn’t in use, but did let in the smell of the fire place burning downstairs. It was quite a strong smell, but after opening windows and doors it felt okay.

James and Celine were excellent hosts. The property is quaint, clean , and modernized with old world charm. The new restaurant was excellent and for a small house, the wine list is extensive. Homemade yogurt and nice selections were available for breakfast which is included in the room rate. Family run and a must stay when you are near Amboise.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Nothing negative.

Beautiful building and very tastefully decorated, loved the resident dog. Great location for easy access to motorway
Our particular bedroom which was beautifully decorated didn’t have any hanging space for clothes and could’ve done with a small table for the coffee machine which was on the floor

We loved everything about this beautiful guest house. The hosts were so welcoming as was their collie dog! We would highly recommend staying in this wonderfully appointed guest overlooking the Loire River. Perfect.
