Ok for an overnight travel

Large parking, nice atmosphere and decent bedroom size.

Bedrooms are bare: no fridge, no kettle, no safe...no accessories at all. The heating was rather loud at night and so was the room: could hear people outside and in the hall quite well. Cleanliness was where visible but under bed or other surfaces were dusty/undone.

A lovely hotel near the Futuroscope

When we booked this hotel, we didn´t appreciate that it was located near to a theme park but it looked nice, was a convenient stop on our road trip and had a carpark right outside the property. When we discovered who the hotel was basically geared at, we were a bit worried that it would be overrun with children and not at all suitable for us but we couldn't have been more wrong. Yes, there were a lot of children at the hotel but they were all well behaved and it didn´t bother us at all. The interior of the hotel was lovely and clean with contemporary decor. The pool was the added bonus. It was small and was quite full when we decided to go in but all we wanted to do was cool off so it was lovely and having a chilled beer poolside after a long drive was just perfect. Our room as spacious and had everything we needed. We had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant that evening and, all in all, we were so happy that we had booked this hotel.

The hotel has a pleasant appearance and is overall fairly decent. We stayed in a family room, which, while on the smaller side, had enough space for a couple with a young child. The rooms appear to have been mildly renovated and were generally comfortable. The rooms were clean and overall the other spaces around the hotel were well maintained.

The major downside was the lack of sound insulation. Noise from the neighboring room was particularly disruptive - our room would literally shake whenever the adjacent door was closed forcefully, which happened multiple times. Corridor noise was more manageable but still noticeable. Despite the noise issues, the hotel was otherwise acceptable for a short stay.

Nice room, shame about the food

The room was good, clean, comfortable.

The food was bad. Dinner was a disaster. We ordered burgers but the burgers came in sugary buns that were quite wrong for a savoury dish. The fries were hideously over-cooked. The breakfast buffet was large but included "scrambled eggs" that looked as if they had been made from powdered egg and small rubbery sausages.

Pleasant surprise

Fun hotel for the family with crazy golf and pool included. We were just travelling and this was a convenient place to stop so had no expectations but were very pleasantly surprised.

As a stop-over for a family of five - ideal

Plenty of breakfast still available at 09:40 ... Mini-golf. Able to book a table for dinner a day in advance, and then bring the booking forward when we arrived earlier than expected. Connecting rooms for a family of five.

At dinner, I asked for a cup of tea. The hot water and cup arrived, and I was offered a selection of fruit-teas, but no english tea - they said they had none. Fortunately I had one of my own in my pocket. The next morning at breakfast, english tea was available! Only two cereals available at Breakfast - some muesli would have been great....

Perfect for futuroscope

Close to futuroscope- 5/10min walk with a yellow line just outside entrance that takes you there (handy for walking back too), lots of entertainment for children- games room that you pay for tokens to use and free crazy golf and swimming pool which is a good size and not too deep for little ones. Rooms clean and functional. Friendly staff.

No kettle in room - sometimes you just need a cuppa after a long day, vending machine expensive.

you struggled to get in the shower as the shower door would not open because the hairdryer holder was in the way and the door would not open inwards , if you were a large person you would have no chance of getting into the shower
