Will think twice about staying again

Stayed here many times to and from Portugal. Often excited by the offer of fresh seafood on the evening menu. Not really value for money but a superb location yards from the motorway

This time left very early and handed my key to reception staff with a " merci " Black Guy on reception. Completely disinterested. Never spoke and no eye contact. A poor ending from an employee who takes zero time for Customer relations.

Avoid certain rooms

On our way to biarritz. Nice opportunity for visiting Futuroscope. Nearly everything we read on reviews in line with expectations. Except for the early morning very loud noices of utilities trucks and men right under our door.

At 7AM we all had unpleasant wake up call. Better avoid roons 112, 114, 116 for sure. And the front desk lady looked not surprised. Dit not offer any assistance and somewhat rudely swiped my credit card.

Very good

Very good breakfast for French hotel. Pool was smaller, than it looked on the hotel picture, but still very comfortable on a hot day. Walking distance from Futuroscope, bus stop to Poitiers center just in front of the hotel.

Does what it says on the tin

Perfect location for an overnight stop. Being close to other hotels gave us good options for dinner. Very good breakfast buffet

Solid reliable hotel with great location and parking but breakfast could be better.

The location close to the motorway and good parking, even for a car with trailer, is always a pleasure. Check in is fast and easy and dogs are allowed. Air conditioning is so important and this Ibis has a good system.

The double beds are still too small for mature well fed adults. But they were comfortable. We wish that the breakfast was a bit better with more choice of meats and cheese. French cheese is so good - it would be a great advertisement to have some real French cheese available even in small limited portions. A fresh croissant would also be a wonderful bonus but sadly they dont provide them.

Good but can always be improved

Bed was comfy, good access to lifts, good car parking

We had a room with a small bath and no separate shower. It was dangerous to use the shower, slippy bath and no hand grip to get in and out of the bath. For larger and older customers, it is better to offer them a room with a walk in shower. A second option of cold meat (other than ham) would be very nice. Or even fresh tomatoes!

Always reliable, good and convenient.

The good thing about Ibis at Futuroscope is not only the great locations 2 mins from the main Paris-Bordeaux motorway but also you know in advance what you will get, a comfortable room, friendly international receptionist, a reasonable breakfast which is ok for the price paid. A lift is helpful too and they accept dogs so that for us is very important.

Limited TV channels. We would love to have more international TV channels available. Real soap in the bathroom would also be a plus. An added touch would be that fresh drinking water was available for dogs and people. We were not sure if we could drink the water from the tap in the bathroom. Information on this would also be great advantage.

ok but disappointed with no restaurant evening meal .

we choose this hotel as it has a restaurant after a long drive we just want to have a meal and sleep . very disappointed that on the last 2 occasions the restaurant has been closed at the weekend , so will rather put us off staying .

MILEADING INFORMATION ABOUT THE ROOMS

In the end the room they provided us with after asking to change. They claimed the initial room they gave us was for 3 people and it barely fitted a double bed. In the end we had to pay extra and we enjoyed a nice and big room. How they advertise it in the website is very misleading.

The information on the room capacity in the booking site is completely misleading, we travelled with one kid and the room was supposed to be for 3 people but it was tiny, no room to pass to the other side of the bed, the crib was in the middle... Moreover the room was a old and not very clean...
