Amazing location, nice and with a good taste.
The room upstairs for kids was so cozy and so warm.
A little bit cold downstairs (we had a room with beds upstairs for kids).

The room had everything we needed, location was very pretty and ideally placed with respect to Cheverny and Chambord (15 min each). Hotel is surrounded by forrest
Location may be a bit isolated

Remote and quiet. Private parking. Large room with huge bed and large bathroom. Separate toilet.Staff friendly and eager to please.
Very expensive and not good value. Cheapest bottle of wine was £40. They didn’t tell us the restaurant was full and there’s nothing nearby for food.Luckily they could do a cold meat and salad snack. There were cobwebs and dust in the room and all over the hallway and stairs. The lovely looking bathtub leaked water and flooded the bathroom. They made us wait for the room to be ready and it still had a left over water bottle from the previous occupants. It had a minibar full of expensive drinks but no water to drink was available. The dreadful pod coffee machine produced undrinkable lukewarm liquid and there was no breakfast tea, milk or sugar. No instructions were available for the air-con, coffee machine or TV.

The design of the renovation and the historical site in the middle of the Forrest and nature, very peaceful.
The room was good, but it was not very clean (kettle, bathroom) and the restaurant was not good value for money. The swimming pool was cloudy and the sun beds broken.

No, it’s a extremely traumatic experience for both me and my dog
The hotel used my credit card authorization to charge me €88 breakfast without my consent, in the midnight. I paid €20 extra per night at this “pet-friendly” hotel. They claimed my dog was barking. I clearly asked please reach out via booking messages to see how it goes and I will be back ASAP, but they just ignored.
Even with my written message asking for a quiet environment so the dog could calm down. They entered my room at my absence, which only escalated the situation. I was away for 2 hours and 10 minutes. When I returned, the hotel was completely quiet — I heard no barking. They refused to provide any evidence.
Afterward, my dog developed severe anxiety, began self-harming, and the vet found no other cause. I still don’t know what happened inside the room while I was away.
The next day, even with the promise to “discuss next morning”, I waited the manager for 2 hours, dismissive, and he said they could have “taken it out of the hotel and put it in the wild so that it escapes”.
I feel extremely uncomfortable being treated like that in a hotel, and also they just refuse to talk properly, I had to left.
After I involved Booking.com, the hotel repeatedly lied (first stating we used the breakfast), distorted the timeline (told booking that my dog bark “continuously from 8pm to 1am”, which is ridiculous) and , and kept changing their statements as I submitted new evidence.
👉 I can stand by every word I say and provide supporting evidence. The hotel, on the other hand, offered no proof and instead resorted to lies when confronted.
This was an extremely traumatic experience for both me and my dog, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone — especially pet owners, or foreigners.
Besides the fact that they are unprofessional, I believe that they dare to do so because I’m apparently a foreigner with foreigner credit card, and I might not have the energy and convenience to protect my rights.

Property was beautiful, our suite was quite large, and breakfasts were good.
The property/area is a bit remote. While in the Loire Valley, the main thing to do is visit local castles.

Great place close to Château de Chambord.
Good breakfast.
Lots of options to enjoy the nature.
Bike rental from reception.
Friendly and very responsive staff.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Refill at the breakfast bar can be a bit quicker, however that’s just because everything is very delicious 😋

The location was very nice. The hotel seems very new. It is situated in the woods. The airconditioning is great and the pool is very nice too. The staff is very attentive. It is also nice that they have bikes you can rent. We took the kids on the bike to the castle. A very nice ride through the woods.

Our second stay here. Fantastic quiet setting. Great food in the restaurant. The new pool was a nice surprise. Good spacious and clean room. We didn't use the hire bikes, but they all looked good quality.
Expensive breakfast, especially for children. Most rooms have an outdoor terrace with a table and chairs, however our large family room didn't.

I came here last year and we liked it.
So we came back this year again. It is even better. There is a new pool. We can rent electric bike.
The hotel is in the center of chambord domain. It is spacious and quiet. The staff is very gentle. You can relax and enjoy your vacation. The dinner in the restaurant is so good.
We have really appreciated our stay here.

Clean, spacious, modern but still classic , friendly staff, excellent heated pool.
The lovely entree hallway was completely filled with parked bicycles. They should find another place to park these. It looks messy and ruins the beautiful entrance when coming in from the parking place.

Very nice location right in the middle of the forest with a large garden where the kids could run around. The reception personnel was very nice, I would give a bonus to the male receptionist as he went above and beyond for us to feel welcomed. Comfortable beds and pillows. The food at dinner was great and I recommend you to make a reservation for dinner. Good choice for breakfast. It has a pool but we did not try it.
While the room was generally clean there were a lot of spiders and spider nets in the bathroom and the room. My daughter has an allergy to spider bites and we had to remove the spider nets ourselves. I think in terms of cleaning the room corners and ceilings should also be cleaned.

We loved the pool! it was very hot and after a day of chateaux-ing a swim was heaven. beautiful surroundings and very quiet.
Clean room. we had a family room with terrace which was super nice.
the staff at breakfast. Some very rude (which might have been a result of them not speaking English, too). I do speak French though and we were told off like kindergarten kids for sitting at the wrong table.
Dinner staff was very nice though!

Well appointed room for the four of us. Nice property, with pretty grounds. We appreciated the pool and made use of it during our stay.

Beautiful hotel. Recently renovated- a little different decor. The staff was very helpful- gave us recommendations for sights and booked dinner reservations with local restaurant. Was disappointed the on-site restaurant was fully booked and we didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant; however, the breakfast was very good!
The water closet was so small- you couldn’t close the door without hitting your knees- poorly designed

location was very peaceful. sitting in the grounds by pond was relaxing. lots has been spent. the decor and room size was really nice.
Paid for room upgrade. It was very big with huge bathroom. bed was comfortable.
However, it was on 2nd floor and no lift which was not easy at our age. staff member that showed us up saw me struggling but didn’t offer an alternative room.
Tiny window was high up and not easy to see out of. Dormer roof window blind was impossible to close fully with provided pole, stood on chair and did by hand.
No shower cubicle. Bath was very high sided and difficult/dangerous to get in and out of for us older folk. handheld shower head in bath was difficult to use when washing hair.
At check out, very helpful apologetic man who spoke very good English said we could have moved room if we’d asked. We said due our poor French and staff poor English it felt too difficult to ask.

Breakfast and lunch and dinner are excellent. The countryside is wonderful and the staff is very kind. We loved our stay very much.
We would like to have a fridge and the bathtub in the bathroom, it will be more comfortable like that.
