Left feeling unsatisfied.

The room was nice.

The fridge in the room didn’t work, the sink in the bathroom didn’t Drain properly. Without warning They charged me 15 euro’s to use the exercise bike and sauna. if you’re looking through the facility’s don’t be fooled.

Very comfortable stay in a lovely building with great facilities

Lovely old chateau in a good location for travel from Spain to Le Shuttle. The room was very comfortable and we loved that our dog could stay with us. We had a really excellent meal in the restaurant and staff throughout were friendly and helpful.

Un Château Trop Chic

It has style, Victorian charm and ambience. Nice grounds, though crumbling. Excellent secure parking.

The staff are poorly trained, vaguely arrogant and pointedly indifferent. The restaurant is posh, if haut cuisine Française is to your taste, but overpriced viz the quality.

A great option for relaxing between touristic visits

This manoir with a nice garden and top-notch restaurant is an oasis, not far from the amusement parks. Part of the family can go to the park, whereas others stay at the hotel to enjoy the pool and the spa treatments. The restaurant is of excellent quality. You can easily have the same menu several times, it is so good. The room provides a good rest, with an extra door between entrance area and the room for quietness, and good darkening curtains.

Not much to criticize! The outdoor pool is a bit small, considering that part of it is shallow. The staff was nice, also in written communication, but they could offer more information on different options upon arrival .

Stylish chateau hotel with good restaurant.

The hotel is very stylish and has a lovely setting on the bank of the river. The restaurant is excellent - better even than it used to be on previous visits. Eating outside in the garden was a real treat.

Lovely, Relaxing Spot

Nice quiet location, pleasant, helpful staff, spacious rooms, good restaurant and ample parking.

When we arrived we discovered no hand soap, shampoo, etc in our room. Room cleaning and restocking of toiletries was a bit hit and miss…running out of loo rolls is never fun. There seemed to be no check list for the cleaning of rooms—no good considering what one pays for a room. Garden furniture (including the pool area) was showing much wear and tear. Otherwise we would have rated it a 5.

1) the toilet flush was running/ making noise all night 2) the a/c was making strong noise every hour all night 3) the staff in the restaurant was incredibly nice but a simple menu took over two hours overall 4) when informing the kind reception staff at check out about the malfunctioning toilets and a/c i just received a simple ‘sorry, i will advise my manager’

A comfortable hotel with an exceptional restaurant let down by truly horrible decor

There was ample parking, our dog was made very welcome, and the pool, terrace and garden was attractive. The hotel staff were however very polite and professional and the food in the restaurant was exceptional…. Really marvellous. The decor of the hotel was absolutely bizarre not helped by an exhibition of paintings which were truly hideous!

The property design is a little old and tasteless. You have to look for the staff if you need something. They are nice but absent. You never know if they are truly nice or just professional. The rooms are not cozy. They look corporate and charmless.

The Tower bedrooms are wonderful. The €55 set menu in the evening was staggeringly good.

The evening dining set in the stunning gardens patio was sublime. The food seemed on a par with Michelin but was sensibly priced.

Our barman and drinks waiter on arrival did not have the makings of a Bloody Mary but still delivered it to the table, just minus the key Lea and Perrins. It was not very nice and we felt awkward returning it. There was no Pimms (never heard of it) and given the nature of the hotel we were surprised. This did not spoil our stay, which was wonderful.

Good stopover

The restaurant meal was a real highlight. Excellent meal. The building, the grounds, lovely swimming pool. Left some items behind and we received a phone call the next day and they posted them to our home. Very good service.

Bedding not very good quality. Bit untidily in reception of the pavilion building and corridors when we arrived.
