Nikos Villas surpassed out expectations!

We loved the location of Nikos Villas - great caldera view and just enough out of town to feel more private while still a convenient walk to all that Oia offers. Our room had great views and was very comfortable. We loved spending part of our days lounging by and swimming in the pool. Nikos Villas is a wonderful place to watch the sunset too! The staff gave us a great orientation to the island and very good restaurant suggestions. Staying here really make our trip to Santorini extra special.

Loved it.

Employees were wonderful as usual. Excellent location. Doors are a little too short - hit my head a couple of times on a door cross bar, but it’s understandable - space is at premium here. Bathroom was good, but a little smaller than normal. Shower had good water flow, hot and cold water available. Love their hair shampoo with olive oil. Pool was great too with very very clean water. Plenty of food around, but pricey (also understandable). Very good restaurant across the street 2 min away.weather was perfect too: a little cool in the morning, a little hot in the afternoon. Fresh air with a little of wind. Everything in Oia is about 10 min away.

The location and stunning Caldera view of Nikos Villas cannot be beat.

This property is amazing. We had a large 2BR 2 Bath villa, and it was perfect. The balcony was huge with a picnic table, lounge chairs and a sunbed that overlooked the stunning Caldera and the pool. No need to stand in the crowds to watch the sunset because you could see it in all its glory from our balcony. The main Queen bedroom was nice and has its own private balcony with a view of the pool and Caldera. The second bedroom had two twin beds. The WiFi worked well, and the house was generally comfortable and incredibly convenient to the town of Oia, though not so close that you felt surrounded by tourists the whole time. It was about a 10 min walk there and a 5 min walk to the bus stop to Fira. It was also right off the path you take to hike to Fira, which was gorgeous. I can’t say enough about what an amazing spot this was.

The two twin beds were a pretty hard so not the most comfortable. Also, the decor is very dated, and the kitchen is very stocked. However, the giant balcony on the Caldera is worth those minor inconveniences.

Excellent caldera views!

Excellent location only a short walk to Oia. Many supermarkets and restaurants close by. Superb views over the Caldera and the pool area was really lovely and quite quiet when we were there. We enjoyed delicious cocktails from the bar while watching the gorgeous sunset views. Staff were very helpful including with luggage and arranging transfers. Highly reccommend!

The rooms are a bit dated and the shower in our room didn't have any shower curtain or walls which resulted in the whole bathroom getting very wet.

The view is to die for, the breakfast magnificent and delivered to our room each morning by the gorgeous Therios. Martina at reception was very sweet and helpful. In all the staff could not do enough for their guests. The position of the villas is also perfect - just on the edge of the busy town of Oia but easy to walk in and easy to get away again. We could see the sunset perfectly from our own terrace. There is a little mini market across the road and even a local bus stop right outside if you want to go to Fira. We walked to Fira via the 10km walking track. It was lovely but make sure you leave earlier than we did as it gets very hot! The bed was very comfortable and having a fridge/freezer and sitting area was fabulous. There is even a very convenient little washing line outside each unit. It has an authentic feel but with all the comforts for a relaxing holiday.

We really loved everything. If I am forced to pick something it was that the shower water went all over the floor every shower no matter what we tried. Really not an issue at all but a bit irritating.

The staff were fantastic the views were amazing. The food and drinks were good value. Breakfast served on your balcony or looking over the Caldera was amazing. Pool was a great size and there was plenty of sun beds.

Perfect place for a dream holiday

The location is perfect... walking distance to the centre but far enough to have the calm during the evening. It's been a very long time since I didn't experience such a warm stay at a hotel. The entire staff is beyond professional and warm. They truly made the difference and made our stay so special. We celebrated the birthday of my parents, and they went above and beyond to make them feel so special. Also I would like to extend my special thanks to Matina for organising everything for us, from the special surprise to attending every request we had with such grace amd warmth. The views are spectacular. The pool is amazing, and the surroundings are so pitoresque. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy our summers there.

I didn’t like the shower. It was so small. You can’t take a bath without hitting your arm or elbow by the wall, no glass protection or a cabin to close the door just a fabric around, which was moving by the waves of the water while in the shower all the water came out of the shower and cover the floor

Stunning

Everyone was so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We were given a map when we got there with plenty of ideas of places to eat and activities. If we needed anything fixing it happened straight away. There were fresh toiletries given to us daily and a choice of whether we changed towels or not. The views were exceptional with our own private viewing of the famous Oia sunset. Beautiful place.

A little bit pricey but probably to be expected and when compared with other similar places on the island actually it was one of the more reasonable

Honestly the staff here is what makes this place amazing. They go above and beyond to insure we are happy. They answered all our questions and gave us great information about the town as well as made restaurant and transportation arrangements.

They need to renovate. Especially the washroom.

You will not be disappointed if you pick Nickos Villas. The location is perfect. The accommodation layout has been very well-thought-out. The views from the poolside and rooms are stunning. The staff are warm and welcoming, making the atmosphere very homely. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful with a big selection and the added bonus of being delivered to your balcony. There are 3 restaurants very close to the villa, away from the expensive and crowded restaurants. Please give them a try! Krinaki Santorini Mou Anemomilos

A standard and location beyond expectations

Perfect location away from the crowds but close enough for an easy walk to Oia. Bedroom, bathroom and living room with kitchenette all spacious and beautifully decorated with traditional furniture. Two balconies, one of which was big enough to accommodate two sunbeds, two chairs, two tables and a large sun parasol. The views from the hotel are spectacular as it is perched on a ridge and there was no need to leave the grounds to see the legendary sunset.

If you are booking it may be worth passing on the breakfast included option. The choices available on the menu, which may indeed be fabulous, were unusual and not to our taste but there are other options not far away. Not really a criticism but you may want the choice.

Wonderful view with amazing staff!

Wonderful views from the entire property. Set in a peaceful and quiet area yet in close proximity to town. A nice 10 min walk into town for restaurants and shops. Really sweet staff at the reception who were considerate to leave boxes of breakfast for us in the fridge before our early morning departure. Loved the serenity and calm of this property.

The pillows and bed are a bit firm for my liking but could be a personal choice. We were expecting staff to help with our large bags due to the staircases and walk to the main road before our flight, but probably due to a last minute issue they didn’t show up and we didn’t receive any information.

Absolutely fantastic!

Nikos Villas were fantastic! Honestly the views are outstanding, it is nice to be above the coastal walkway for privacy. The staff were just amazing, so friendly and kind, the receptionist went above and beyond to help us out with a flight booking so we could carry on enjoying ourselves. Breakfast on the balcony was wonderful. Would love to stay again.

Disappointed

The view overlooking the caldera

We were in a studio overlooking the pool in rm# 24. The room is terribly outdated, the seat cushions in the living room were stained; and the worse part was the shower drain didn’t properly drain. The second person would need to wait 30 min for the water to go down before getting in the shower. I paid close to $1200 Euro for 4 nights, was flabbergasted to hear that breakfast would be an additional $20euro per person.

Wonderful caldera views from pool and patio

Wonderful pool and patio area with a great barman. The best views over the caldera and Oia town. Great breakfast served to the room. Friendly and helpful staff.

Walk from hotel to Oia centre is partly along a road with no pavement with close passing cars, quads and buses. Bathroom is small and a bit basic. But the pool and the view trump any minor defects!

Exceptional

From the moment we arrived, Dimitrius made sure we felt welcomed. He gave us a run down of where the best sites were, what spots we should not miss, and how to get around our area. We were located a short walk from the heart of Oia and had incredible views. What can I say about the breakfasts? We were provided options to select from and woke to a delicious breakfast delivered to our balcony each morning. Dimitrius was right, you have to try their Greek yogurt. It was delicious.

There really wasn't anything not to like as far as Nikkos Hotel was concerned.
