This was the perfect stay in Santorini! It is right next to an iconic blue dome, which is one of the most photographed spots in Santorini. The property is big, clean and very comfortable. It even has a little reading nook that has a caldera view, making the place even more magical. Zak, the property owner, was very responsible and friendly. He in fact went the extra mile to make some arrangements at our request. I highly recommend this place and would rate it 10/5 if that were possible.

A special stay at the top of the island

Pick up and baggage porter was prearranged and our host Zak greeted us where we were dropped off. He was very helpful and attentive. The accommodation was absolutely spectacular with all the necessary conveniences for a comfortable stay including coffee and teas. Kitchen is equipped well. Overall, our stay was thoroughly enjoyable.

Excellent place for a family of 5 with all adults. The location was quite yet only steps away from the Main Street of Oia. Views were incredible, roof top was an added bonus with unrestricted views. The place was comfortable and clean. Additional housekeeping was provided on day which was a big plus.

Perfect stay

If you want to experience a traditional cave house in the most attractive location, this is your place. Our host Zak was also fantastic, so guest friendly and helpful that it was a pleasure to stay in his house.

Loved it!

Location is exceptional - oia is far better choice than Thera as you don’t get as many of the cruise ship crowds. The house itself has stunning views and close to famous sunset watch point. On the quiet end of the Main Street with all the restaurants and shops. Location is perfect. It’s decorated in traditional Greek island style, simple and stunning!

Nothing! For us it was perfect, two separate self contained areas. One studio with small kitchen and bathroom and upstairs has living room, dining, larger kitchen and bedroom. Each with own bathroom.

Perfect first-time Santorini stay!

Zak’s place has one of the best views in Santorini! Seriously amazing. Every sunrise and sunset here is a gift. Also bigger than it looks in the pictures. Zak is super helpful and organized pickup from the airport and portage for our luggage to and from the Airbnb (lots of steps in Oia - very much appreciated!) All around excellent place to stay, would highly recommend!

We had a fabulous time with all expectation exceeded!

The location in Santorini was central to all the action. Close to a Blue Dome, restaurants, shops, everything that Santorini has to offer. However, stairs to accom and accom set back made it extremely private and quiet even though you are in the middle of a spectacular postcard with throngs of tourists in the laneways just meters below. The view from the house is glorious!!

Wish we had have met Zak,the host, on Day 1 as he was a wealth of knowledge, lots of fun and an all round impressive human. Absolutely nothing else to complain about. His communication prior to our arrival, organisation, the opportunity to live in a traditional house on the side of the cliff in Oia, the photo ops and views made our time in Santorini better than our highest expectations.

Great location, cute design, great help from the host!

The villa was a nice surprise in terms of its design. The one we stayed in had a cool desk area steps up from one of the bedrooms, and it had an amazing view. There was a lot of outdoor space, and the view was beautiful. It was close to losts of shops and also one of the best spots for sunsets. The host was amazingly helpful with transportation and getting luggage around. Our family was very happy, so we highly recommend it!

Superb

Breathtaking location. Can't be better at oia. We were there two nights and those were simply memorable. The traditional cave style villa on the oia rock feels like it is hanging on the sea. We had morning and evening teas sitting on the open porch facing the vast blue sea and caldera, and vowed to come back again to recreate those moments. The villa is a short walk from oia castle, most coveted spot for sunrise and sunset and from where steps go down to the beach. Can't appreciate more the hospitality of Zak, the owner. We were having problem locking the bathroom door. Since we were two couples, Zak immediately offered one couple to shift to another of his apartments just up without any additional cost so that we don't have to face any embarassment with it. Zak arranged our transfer from the ferry port and again to the airport. Kept our luggage as we had afternoon flight. Even brought a cake when came to see us off which is a rare gesture of hospitality. If I go to Santorini again, I will definitely knock Zak first to see his villa is available or not.

Can't really pick one. I am sure by now Zak fixed the tightness of the bathroom door.

Breathtaking Views in Dream Home

True to the photos, the apartment is bright and airy, and thoughtfully decorated and outfitted with modern amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. But the view from the large balcony truly surpasses any pictorial representation and will take the air out of your lungs when you first step into the home. Even though the entire Oia city lies right outside your door step, you will be compelled to stay in the apartment and not leave at all. Zac and his team were great hosts to us. The pick-up and drop-off service to and from the ferry terminal and airport were very efficient and the rides were very comfortable. Zac also helped us book a rental car to explore the island, which I highly recommend if you are spending more than 2 nights in Santorini.

Blue Dome Paradise

Zak was pro-active in contacting us and arranging the meetup with baggage handlers to carry our stuff to the accommodations. That was extremely helpful as Santorini was full of stairs! The location was amazing too! very near to the blue domed church.

Excellent stay at Zoe Aegeas!!!

This was the second time I stayed in the Private Blue Cave villa. The location is perfect. Not too many stairs to get to it. Super clean rooms with lots of space and very comfy beds. It has a rooftop terrace where we hung out in the evening. Our host Zak was very responsive whenever we called or texted him. He met us by the parking lot and had someone bring all of our luggage down the stairs. I would def recommend staying there.

Incredible location for a family vacation

The property and owner were both fabulous and way exceeded our expectations. Zak is passionate about his guests and went out of his way to make sure we had a very memorable family vacation. If this is available don’t hesitate to book it, what it lacks due to age is well overcome by service and charm. Ideal location for walking all of Oia as well.

The apartment was a small studio; great value and views and the host Zak was the BEST!

Loved the sea view from the room and the balcony. The location was great. Zak who runs the property couldn't have been any more helpful and resourceful. He always tried to please and make our stay as wonderful as possible. Everyone in town seemed to know him and only had nice things to say about him.

Overall, it really was wonderful and such a good value for the view and location. However, it would be nice to have some shelving or a small parsons table under the stone hanging built-in sink to put toiletries on because they have the room for it. Same for shelving in the small open closet so you don't have to stack clothes on the table or live out of a suitcase. This would certainly not stop me from staying there but these couple of things could make it even better.

Great host, perfect location

Outstanding location, couldn't be better. Terrace with a seaview and a view over city and blue domes. Literally on the main street. The apartment is nice, vintage like, but well preserved and cleaned daily. And the host, Zac, was something else, superbly kind, responsive and arranges pretty much anything you need, with you having to do anything. Great experience, thank you for everything. 10/10.

Wonderful location. Central to everything, yet quiet at night.

This room had access to a deck with several couches that had a wonderful view of the caldera and very close to the Blue Domed churches. Could see the donkeys walk right by our place on their trek to Ammoudi Bay and back at night. Zoe Ageas opens onto the walkway to go to the sunset which was only a 5 minute walk that we did every night. Such amazing memories. And from there you can walk down the large steps that take you to Ammoudi Bay which was beautiful and delicious. Zak, our host, recommended a great place there for food. He was so helpful with anything we needed to do.
