The Dream Santorini

I first loved how welcoming and extremely Elizabeth (the manager) was. She was so nice and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable which it absolutely was. Secondly, the Dream has a direct view of the Caldera which was just excellent for us. It was very nice seeing all the tourists take loads of pictures right by our villa. I felt special being able spend a few days at The Dream and so did my family.

I wish the jacuzzi water was more warmer which I mentioned and was fixed right away. I had relax moment in the jacuzzi and took some nice pics.

It happens in life that you get lucky with good guides or good hosts when you organize your vacation. You hope that the next time will be at least as good, or at least as good as the last time when "it was good". I met Elizabeth through the Booking platform and the hotel she manages, The Dream Santorini. The hotel by definition is just a temporary home, where you don't have to expect to ever leave; you didn't come on vacation to sleep non-stop, or, as a Swedish friend of ours summarized, “we don't intend to buy it”, right? Our history with Elizabeth ended like this... a lot of unknowns were promptly clarified to us through probably a hundred messages sent bilaterally via Whatapp... first of all, Elisabeth responds to any message, at any time. Secondly, Elizabeth has a solution for any problem or request of her guest. Anytime! What made the difference between Elizabeth and any professional counterpart in the Hospitality Industry, was providing her credibility for us, in front of third parties! He got us a booking at a closed circuit club in the next village, where I don't think we would have ended up otherwise! The culinary recommendations, the choices of excursions of all kinds, with all of them relaxed us, finally delegating any organizational effort to him. Such a professional, a high-class facilitator as well as an excellent communicator was not given to us to know, although we walked on many of the meridians of mother Earth. In two words, Elizabeth was our guardian angel in Oia/Santorini! We parted friends, the sincerity, honesty and devotion to the profession being real models for many other colleagues. Elizabeth has reached the level where she can do professional training, anytime! Congratulations The Dream Santorini Hotel, for having such a pro like manager! Will we see Elizabeth again? Definitely, YES!

Wonderful Excellent. A place rated 10 plus. Superb view, close to the castle in Oia. And Elizabeth..., brilliant! A man you rarely find. We thank him in this way for everything!

Minor point, the Jacuzzi is tiny (& like most outdoor Jacuzzis in Santorini lacks privacy). If you were in Oia for the infinity pool feel then you should probably book the larger unit (not the honeymoon suite). Personally, it wasn’t on my list so it was ok.

Location was fabulous. The view from our room was beautiful. The sunset point was breath taking. Elizabeth, our manager was exceptional. Very helpful & understanding. She even organized our sunset cruise which was perfect. Our villa had all the facilities. Will definitely come back during the season time.

Most of the places around Santorini was closed because of the season.

Loved the beautiful view, we stayed in the honeymoon suite and the room next to us was getting renovated so we were able to use its Terrance and the view was amazing. The host Elizabeth went above and beyond! If we needed food. Rides or anything at all she was a message away and very responsive! She made sure we were safe at our next location! Elizabeth made our stay in Santorini perfect !

The reviews are right, if your not physically fit your going to have a hard time walking around oia. Soo many stairs and hills but it was worth it. The bedroom was right next to stairs where they bring the donkeys through every morning at the early crack of dawn and it sounds like donkeys are trotting on your head every few minutes for hours, so not the most peaceful sleep we've had. The pros of this place definitely put weigh the cons though and I still would recommend this beautiful hotel!

Everything.... the superb location with a fantastic view of the caldera .....amenitiies hot tub , bubble bath, netflix etc..... supermart and rest near by... nice hosts... nothing to ask for.... my family really enjoy every moment of it....

The room and the location. Elizabeth (Manager) was extremely helpful throughout our stay. She attended to all our requests. She even came to drop us to the port :)

The room was so nice and comfortable, Elizabeth and Mateo were so helpful with everything we needed, and the terrace is pure magic. Can't imagine a better location in all of Oia.

The location is so amazing that there are a lot tourists just on the other side of the terrace wall, trying to capture the picture that you get to live in. There's still plenty of privacy and the terrace door locks so they can't get in, just don't expect extreme quiet during peak hours.

The room was below expectations, especially given the price ($650+ per night). The hot tub is small, located in a dark corner, and it is run down (the paint is chipping off). The fridge is small and old, and it sits (unstable) on top of a wine cooler. The room was also not very clean.

This place is everything!! It was even better than on photos. We loved every single thing about it - size, staff, comfoet, hot tub, location - everything is perfect!! Tbe view from the terrace is spectacular. Thank you for making our stay unforgetable

The location was superb. Elizabeth was very kind and Matteo very helpful with our luggages and car parking.

A freezer would complete the kitchen.

location. it was a cute room. in a cave. very different from any room I’ve ever stayed in.

no shelves for clothing. had to live out of our luggages. the bed was in the loft area and the steps up were too close to ceiling. hot too outside wasn’t functioning too well and was a bit small.

The location can’t be beat. It is just like all the pictures you see of Santorini. Actually, don’t be surprised when you see many people taking pictures just right outside your door. The rooms were very comfortable and my sister loved the jacuzzi. Our stay was so comfortable and relaxing. I have to mention Elizabeth, our concierge. She is just absolutely the best! she was so nice and helpful with any questions I had. She always responded quickly and gave us so many tips on where to go. She also took care of booking activities for us like a sunset yacht tour and wine tasting. For an additional fee, she also picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. All in all, an absolutely unforgettable, wonderful trip.

The property was extremely idyllic, a perfect way to take in the Santorini we all see in the pictures. despite being a cave conversion, it was warm and thoroughly clean with everything provided to maintain the property yourself no matter how long your stay.
