A comfortable and welcoming stay from beginning to end

The view from these rooms is stunning and worth the splurge. Hotel management are very professional and friendly. Upon our arrival they provided details about hotel amenities and suggestions for our stay in Oia. They provided a ride from the airport on our arrival in Santorini, and arranged our transport to our hotel in Fira when our Oia holiday ended. Porters carried our luggage to and from our room - a VERY welcome service: there are many steps and levels of stairway to and from the rooms. Tip these guys well -- they sure deserve it! The hotel's positively unique and memorable cave rooms made our stay just about perfect. The fully stocked kitchen was great for impromptu meals and reheating take-out meals. The hotel is centrally located in Oia, convenient to the town square for transportation and a short walk from the point and Castle of St. Nicholas. Our spacious balcony patio was a great place to enjoy a continental breakfast while observing wedding tableaux and celebrations every morning, and gaze on the caldera through the day.

Location is perfection!

Beautiful traditional cliffside villas. Nicely styled. Spacious, clean and comfortable with lots of places to relax both inside and out. Peaceful location to take in the amazing views. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Perfect Santorini Vibe Villa

You know, you dream of a Santorini experience - images in your mind, gathered from social media that are enhanced and touched up. Most times, dreams and reality do not match up! Our stay at this villa was as if out of a picture postcard - not one single disappointment. The villa itself was quaint, had a homey vibe, comfortable, and serene. The service staff were all excellent.

Well, if you want a view like this, you do have to pay a price for it and not only in dollars! There are exactly 87 steps up to street level from the villa! It was a good work out, not necessarily a bad thing!

Afroditi, the person that greeted us and attended to our needs during our stay was fantastic! Totally engaging and friendly. Great recommendations. The entire staff was lovely. Great breakfast. Great view. Nice location. In Oia. We had a small suite which was perfect for a three night stay.

The PERFECT stay in Oia!

The location in Oia was perfect! We had amazing views of the caldera as well as the iconic blue domes of the city right from our room! In the distance, we could see all of the tourists taking photos on the square in front of the church while we relaxed on our peaceful balcony patio. The hotel was situated on the main passageway with a five to ten minute walk in either direction to both ends of Oia. Each morning breakfast was served directly to our room at a time we chose. We dined outside while enjoying the quiet views and ocean breezes. A stay in a traditional cave hotel was on my bucket list, and it did not disappoint! The view of the windmills with perfect sunset views were a quick walk from the hotel. They gave us great recommendations of where to get a drink or dinner to experience the not-to-miss sunsets of Oia! The value was good compared to other options we considered. We would definitely stay here again!

It would have been nice to have a pool, but the hotel helped us arrange a visit to the red and black sand beaches, so we still had our time in the water in Santorini!

Santorini excellence

The location, the staff, the view are all exceptional and easily exceed any preconceptions about the Villas. The staff are always on the move but very approachable whatever they are doing. Our porter in particular was able to carry a 26 kg suitcase and a 8 kg carry on bag on his shoulder while wheeling another suitcase as well. EXCEPTIONAL!!!

Front desk service and room service weree professional and responsive.

Breakfast was like the Ford Model T, one model, one color, Rooms were well located but extremely overpriced for the comfort and experience provided. but aside from the location, the facility is dated and not comfortable.

Spectacular views ! Lovely traditional decor but a great space with everything available. The daily breakfast was amazing. Well equipped with all required for self catering. Magnificent outdoor space

The breakfast was really nice. We loved the service that brought us our breakfast every morning to our balcony. Also the view and the staff have been exceptional! Exceptional

Kindest reception ever, view from the terrace. Communication via WhatsApp perfect. To the management: please keep the old wooden furniture, it adds to the atmosphere. To other tourists: Once you have made up your mind with the costly price level in Oia, Chelidonia is definitely a good choice. The bed was big and the mattress let us sleep well. The porter carried two heavy suitcases at once upstairs... Hercules little brother I guess. Breakfast is a nice add-on. We did not use the kitchen, but it is well equipped.

Great Stay

Room was just as wonderful as it looked in the pictures. The staff was exceptional, especially Appollon and Mais who helped us when bad weather complicated our travel to Paros. All the staff recommendations for the local spots were spot on. Overall a great stay and an excellent honeymoon trip

We enjoyed it so much, we will return

Waking up to a very peaceful and uninterrupted view of the Caldera was sensational, and having breakfast in a secluded spot was simply stunning. The team here are unreal - I've never been anywhere where the staff have made such a difference to my stay. Oia is a beautiful part of a beautiful island, so you're always going to have a lovely time - but... Apollon, Mais, Ned and Heracles himself - Nick collectively did something every day that really lifted your spirits and made your day. We will be back.

These are traditional villas, so nothing opulent here, which is lovely in itself - but you should be aware that if you're expecting golden elevators, you're going to find brick steps... And a lot of them!
