Very good overall, but not worth the price

We especially enjoyed: • The jacuzzi on the suite’s terrace • The thoughtful welcome gift • The delicious breakfast served in the suite • The comfortable bed and the spacious bathroom • The beautiful hotel, typical of Santorini

What we liked less: • A bit far from the center of Oia (with a steep uphill walk) • The sea view is quite limited from the suite and the hotel, and large electric poles block part of it • Some details in the suite’s finishings were not up to standard (the toilet paper holder was loose, the shower doors didn’t close properly, etc.) Considering the price, we expected a slightly better experience.

It was close to Oia’s town about a 8-10 minute walk to all the restaurants and stores, gorgeous views, clean, beautiful landscaping and very detailed; nice size pool with lounge chairs.

The staff isn’t really into being nice after you check in. I felt that the reception gal, Eva was very friendly when I first checked in, she said she would help me find a photographer to do some pics of me since I was alone I wanted someone to hangout for an hour doing my pictures and never heard back from her. I also felt when you dialed from your room to the reception area to ask any questions seem to have never picked up. When I was checking out I was trying to get someone to call help me with my bags but didn’t get an answer after various calls and so I had to take it myself and it was a pain since I had heavy luggage and when I finally made it to the reception area, I mentioned to the person there and she could care less. Mind you, I’m a tipper so it’s not like I was asking for a favor tgat I wasn’t going to tip for. So I wasn’t happy with the level of their service but that doesn’t take away from a good night.

Our room was a little smaller than I had expected although it wasn’t a big problem as we left our two large suitcases on the couch as no where else to leave them opened. It would’ve been great if they had a buggy available to take guests up to the main street as the hill was quite steep and not a lot of fun in the scorching heat. Walking back was so much easier.

Amazing property with beautiful swimming pools and small jacuzzis in each room as well. Very helpful staff. They even brought us morning coffee/early breakfast on the last morning at 3:30 AM when we needed to head to the airport!

Gorgeous stay in this beautiful hotel. 10 minutes from the magical main town, but so quieta d relaxing. A real find :)

This is a tranquil, beautifully designed and maintained hotel. The bed was really comfortable. We had a duplex room with a balcony and terrace complete with sun beds and hot tub. Main pool as well as smaller pool on the coast. Everything immaculately maintained.

Could have done with towel hook on the bathroom, but I’m clutching at straws.

Great customer service. All that you could possibly ask for. Having said that as so steep to get to restaurants and shops would be great to have a buggy on hand to take guests with mobility issues. Near by accomodation did have this service.

I stayed at Elea Resort in Santorini and was extremely disappointed, especially considering the high expectations set by the location and price. When I checked in, they gave me a room with no AC — and it was hot. The room was actually hotter than the outside temperature, and it was already scorching outside. When I brought this up to the front desk, they just provided me with excuses . My mom was staying at the hotel for five days and also had no AC on her first night. They didn’t bother fixing it until the following morning, when they casually mentioned that a switch had been left on the “heat” setting on the exterior panel. Completely avoidable and handled with zero urgency. To make matters worse, I was there for my wedding and needed help from family while getting ready. The hotel refused to allow anyone to come to my room to assist me — they do not permit any visitors who are not registered guests. This made an already stressful day even more frustrating. The breakfast was mediocre at best, with limited options and nothing fresh or memorable. The rooms smelled musty and felt poorly maintained. Also, be warned: the location is very inconvenient if you have a car. Because of the one-way traffic system around Oia, getting in and out is a hassle and takes much longer than it should. Overall, I would not recommend Elea Resort. There are many better options in Santorini that actually care about guest comfort and understand hospitality.

I enjoyed the hotel and facilities but the location wasn’t great!

I enjoyed the hotel and the facilities of the hotel! We had the private tub which was cleaned every day and the pool.

The location is quite bad, you have to walk 15minutes from Oia on a hard way to the hotel! The staff wasn’t very friendly to help with some extra asks.

Superb

The location, panorama and cleanliness are to be mentioned in a positive sense. The rooms are beautiful and with very good and rich breakfast facilities, bathroom and sunbathing on the terrace, which is very convenient. We arrived late, but we were able to communicate with the staff about arranging a dinner.

Regarding the negative points, I would mention the lack of toiletries.

This resort is magnificent.

This property is very quite and quaint. Only a dozen rooms or so. The staff is extremely helpful and always going that extra mile.

It was at the bottom of a giant hill that we had to walk up and down every time we went anywhere. including shopping and dinner. The ceiling in the bedroom loft is very low and the stairs are not very easy to manage. Bumping your head will be a constant occurrence.

Very beautiful hotel. Best for honeymooners or anyone who want to relax. Very neat. Staffs are also very kind, friendly and helpful. Especially Ms.Konstantina. she made sure wr had a wonderful stay. Really helpful. Food is also very tasty.
