Definite 'wow' factor when you walk in!

Very spacious apartment. Perfect for a family or group. Beautiful interior & well-furnished & equipped. It has the wow factor & is full of character. The location is right on the sea front & ideal for walking to shops, bars, restaurants, the beach!

It's a basement apartment so the views from the windows are mainly the concrete wall. But the sea's right opposite! The front entrance area tends to collect litter which is obviously out of anyone's control. Just looks messy at times. The steps down to the front door perhaps could be slippy in bad weather & I think the hand-rail didn't reach the full way. It was a shame the tv in the 'master room' wasn't set-up so after trying a couple of channels & needing to register my email address for them, I gave up. Also, if you're a light sleeper, you can hear the road traffic from the coastal road. The master bedroom's en-suite shower room could do with some deep cleaning around the shower edges (inside & outside of the cubicle).

Excellent value for money top quality apartment. Redcar is a nice place to visit.

Property was very impressive and was decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch. There is plenty of space with generous room sizes and it is very well maintained. The equipment is also very good with most things that you need. The apartment is in a quiet part of town and right on the seafront.

Basement/ ground floor apartment so not the best views and there was a musty smell when we first arrived however this cleared relatively quickly and did not effect our enjoyment of the property in any way.

A fabulous weekend away in a beautiful apartment.

The apartment was amazing. A lovely spacious place with high standards of cleanliness. Each room had its own beautiful smell. The hosts have gone above and beyond to ensure this property has everything you would need for a guest stay.

the place is beautiful with everything you need

we didn't find any instructions for the tv in the living room . couldn't.t get the tv in the bedroom to work. luckily because we had only 2 nights we managed by playing games.my grandaughter would have liked to use the dance mat but we couldn't get it set up.

Absolutely amazing, beautiful apartment

Regancy Mansions had everything and anything you needed plus more. The apartment was absolutely amazing, very spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable.The location is very good, beach just across the road ,close to the city centre and bars and restaurants. Communication from staff was second to none, very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.

This apartment was perfect for our needs. It was very spacious. We were a party of 3 adult men travelling for work. It had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms which helped immensely, as no one had to wait to get showered after work. The beds were very comfortable and we made use of the washing machine.

the only bad point, which i can't blame the host for, was whoever was in the upstairs apartment was a bit noisy in the night, walking backwards and forwards to the toilet.

Smart, spacious apartment in excellent location

Excellent location, comfy beds and the bathrooms were really nice with powerful showers. The sofas were comfortable and there were plenty of places to sit throughout the apartment. Loads of space, and wardrobes in every room. The sea was just about visible from the windows and we could see the iconic Redcar penguins from the windows too.

The kitchen was poorly equipped and small. The flooring needed repairing in places.

Great location and price.

Perfect location for the course i was attending and great being right opposite the sea. The apartment was a really good size for the price. Comfy beds and a really nice large living room communal area.

On arrival, there was a really bad smell coming from the kitchen sink. We contacted customer service but didn't get a reply. In the end, we just had to make sure the plug was in and closed as it was the drain that smelt terrible. It would be worth having somebody clean the trap under the sink. The apartment was advertised as having a coffee machine, which it did, but it would have been nice to be told what sort so i could have bought some pods for it beforehand. Perhaps have a couple of pods supplied on the first day. We were surprised to find an xbox 360 in the living room, which was exciting until we found it didn't actually work and only had one controller. This wasn't advertised, so it would have been a bonus anyway.

Redcar in Winter

Loved the decor and having the Christmas trees made it extra special. Very spacious apartment, and the location was good. Easy walks along promenade and good train/ bus service. Comfy beds with nice bedding. Handy having a washing machine.

Wasn't anything to really dislike. Small additions to increase the amount of crockery and cooking utensils would have made it even better.

We found Redcar a super place to stay and overall the apartment met our requirements.

Size; Location; Excellent towels & bedding; Good facilities; Free on-site Parking.

Smells in kitchen and laundry room - like dirty drains (used candles and bleach to counteract); Cleaning - Lucozade bottle under sofa, dirty wet towels in bathroom, dust on television stand. Oven pans and frying pan unusable. Would have preferred better outlook (being a basement apartment that we were unaware it would be, meant could not see view properly and could not open windows efficiently because of security.

Location was nice

Liked the location and property was in perfect location. Only problem was host and stay said it’s in ground floor flat but it’s wasn’t. It’s semi ground floor and can see the sea view from the windows, the makes me bit upset. Apartment was little cold because it was slightly semi ground level. Anyway thanks Host and stay

Spacious Apartment, great decor, but needs some attention when it comes to cleanliness.

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable beds, with 7 of us staying there you didn't feel ontop of one another. The location was great, everything within walking distance and a good base for visiting other areas such as whitby.

As soon as you walked in the apartment there was an overwhelming smell of damp, even if we sprayed and put plug ins in, it didn't make a difference! The apartment wasn't the cleanest, bathroom had mould and hair left around the shower area, could do with a deep clean throughout.

Lounge and dining room well decorated and large rooms. Bedroom 2 & 3 both nicely decorated and comfy.

Issues with damp in the main bedroom, wallpaper lifting in places and signs of mould and blown plaster. Also very bad smell of damp in utility. Kitchen had broken door and fake draw on sink unit. Overall the flat could do with a new damp proof course and revamp.

Pleasant

The property was spacious, well furnished and had good facilities. The location was good, parking was ok the place was close to all the amenities.

• On arrival, access to the property was difficult due to an Acrow Prop being positioned directly on the steps in front of the door, it was particularly difficult gaining entry and exit when moving luggage. • On entering the property there was a noticeable smell of damp • The mattress in the main bedroom was very uncomfortable. • On the Friday night/Saturday morning of the stay there was a power cut in the area which caused the boiler to fault and had to be reset numerous times. Whilst I realise the power cut was out of your control it is fortunate, we were able to keep resetting the boiler. • We had to replenish the toilet rolls in all the bathrooms ourselves • We were unable to use the allotted parking space for the Apartment on Saturday/Sunday. A builders skip had been deposited in the bay adjacent to ours with a chute coming down from the first floor. There were building materials on the floor in our bay which would have been on my car if I had parked there. (see attached photo) • Finally during our stay the sink in one of the bedrooms was slow to drain and only did so when the toilet was flushed. However, and fortunately for us it was our last morning the toilet itself flooded and cover the bathroom floor in water, which we cleared up. It was disappointing that when bringing these issues to the owners attention, all we received was an e-mail apology. I definitely wont be staying at this property again and would avoid any other place hosted by the same company.

the size of the apartment and decor throughout is fantastic. comfortable beds. Great location.

The overwhelming smell of damp. it was so strong I have brought the smell home with me. The cupboards in the utility are full of mould. Its such a shame as the apartment is great. I was also sad to see the steps/ entrance to the property hadn’t been swept. it was full of dirt and cig butts. The last people to stay had also left rubbish bags outside. The host and stay rep was still parked up when we arrived, I don’t understand why he didn’t dispose of the rubbish.

The 3rd bathroom out of order for over a year looking at previous reviews... main bedroom was shabby chic to be honest it was shabby and smelly.....my chest began hurting after the 2nd night as it was very very damp in that particular room . The other 2 bedrooms fab and airy.. .kitchen very small and smelly too. Living area great.

Such a shame as could be lovely

stunning front room, very well thought out and put together

it’s smells awful. It’s either damp or the drains. Bed sheets were damp. Came to what we thought was a 3 bed & 3 bathroom apartment to find that one of the bathrooms was out of action and dirty towels left on the floor to mop the leak up. we were not informed of this prior to arriving. One of our party is asthmatic and has had a cough since leaving.

Short enjoyable family break

Location practically on the beach was great, the living space felt quite cosy on the evenings. Spacious bedrooms. A good base to explore other areas via the train which was only only a short walk away

Issue with parking on arrival, the reserved space for the apartment number 1 was constantly in use by other cars, had to pay for street parking until one of the two visitor bays were empty. Bedrooms/sheets felt slightly damp and the 2nd bathroom smelt a bit musty. Scaffolding was put up during the stay which was erected in the middle of the steps leading to the apartment. Looking out the window of the apartment there was lots of rubbish about which made it look untidy. A pair of oven gloves would of been handy. Trying not to be too critical because it was a decent little break and think with little tweaks with some of the points it could be better.

Location and size. The furniture and rooms made us feel at home.

Heating system worked well, toasty warm. Spacious apartment, well presented.

Access down steps not the best, slippery when wet. Area around the entrance very untidy. Being continually pestered to sign up to an insurance scheme, I've never come across this before. Could have been a scam for all I knew, they wanted too much personal information, not sure how secure their site is. I couldn't find who underwrites their insurance scheme.
