The apartment was incredibly close to the Piazza Vecchia and the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggoire, two of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The piazza is full of restaurants and bars so there was never an issue finding somewhere to eat. The gelato store below was phenomenal too. Despite being located on what was effectively the high street, it was never so loud that it was uncomfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The air conditioning really helped given that it rarely dipped before 30 Celsius during our stay.

The apartment would benefit from some modernising, but only 2 notes for this. The TV could be updated to be a smart TV, to help non-native speakers that may spend more time in the apartment. This is was not an issue for us as we spent very little time in the apartment outside of sleeping hours. The other is having the refrigerator updated as the current one did not seem to get very cold. I changed the dial inside but it made very little difference.

Location is amazing. Right in the center of Citta Alta. Room looks very old and it takes you back in time.

There is mold in the bathroom, AC is dirty and dusty inside. Water heater and heater are loud when working.

Very good location and fantastically comfy bed!!

Minimal extras - no coffee or tea - very basic and no welcome feel (compared to other local B&Bs)
