Calm place with a friendly owner and lovely new interior

The place was just superb – quiet place far from rush of the town (ideal for those who prefer calm place to hide from city), very friendly owner speaking english well, wonderful interior with good details making stay comfortable. You will probably be welcomed also by two cute little dogs and a cat outside the building. :)

Nothing, just be careful on the road there, there is one quite narrow place, where you must be careful not to scratch your car's mirrors 😜. Someone might not like that in some rooms a bathroom is not in the one room with a bedroom – not a problem for me.

Enchanting

Marcella and Pierantonio are wonderful hosts. On the day of our arrival, Pierantonio drove us into Bergamo Alta and gave us some excellent advice on where to have lunch. The breakfasts he prepared were phenomenal. Fresh fruit salad and yoghurt, waffles, pancakes, toast, nothing was too much trouble. Sitting on the terrace at Dimora del Riccio in the evening was a restful way to end a day of exploring the wonderful city of Bergamo.

A small family owned B&B with a friendly atmophere. The location is a bit countryside with a beutiful view. It is perfect if you do not mind to walk a bit as restaurants and shops are appr 1 km away.

Nice and cosy

The owner was very nice and help is with transportation from the main train station to the location on the first day. He has given us info about place to eat and indication regarding the busses/train options. Their place is nice and cosy. On the Last day, I Even receive a small gift from his wife which where very nice (homemade balm lip).

The owner Pierre was super nice, helpful and accommodating. The room and bathroom were very large and comfortable. Very nice terrace.

Getting there was a challenge, very narrow road. There was coffee in the room, but would have enjoyed breakfast on the terrace.

The owners of the hostel were very kind and friendly . They offered us a lift to the center of the town twice. I will visit again the same place and I would stay more.

A great B&B to visit again.

Very kind and helpfull owners of the B&B. The rooms where neat and clean. The B&B is close to the upper town (10 to 15 minutes walk), but in a quiet place. We had a great breakfast every morning, you can agree a time for breakfast with the owner. We didn't prepare ourselfs very good what to do in the area, the owner helped us with all kind of possibilities what we could do. If we visit this area again we surely would book this B&B again.

Having stayed here 5 years ago we found that the facilities had been improved even more. Pierantonio our host was very knowledgable and helpful. His English is excellent and he is very friendly and obliging.

The property was in a lovely rural, quiet location and the accommodation itself was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and kind, offering us lots of information about the local area and suggesting places to visit. I wish we could have stayed for longer and I thoroughly recommend this property to others!

Great retreat close to old town

That it was close to the old town, but hidden in a very quiet and relaxing location. The room was also very large, clean and comfortable. The pricing was super reasonable, and having a shared kitchen area to make coffee and eat breakfast was awesome! The owner is super nice and he provided so many great suggestions.

Driving our car through the road was a bit daunting with the narrow stone walls, but even with an MPV (Peugeot Rifter), we made it through carefully without any problems.

La camera arredata con gusto.e pulita. Il bagno con un enorme box doccia. La colazione ottima ed abbondante grazie alla disponibilità della proprietaria. Il benvenuto dei due gatti.

Tranquilidade e simpatia perto da Città Alta de Bérgamo

Chegamos à noite e com atraso na Dimora del Riccio, e Pierantonio (marido da Marcella) nos recebeu com muita simpatia e solícito. Deixamos a bagagem e ele nos deu uma carona de carro até um restaurante próximo na zona ZTL, onde poderíamos jantar. Na manhã seguinte soubemos que estávamos próximos de um dos portais de entrada da Cidade Alta de Bérgamo, o que é uma vantagem na localização da pousada. Nossa acomodação era muito bem decorada, muito limpa e dispunha até de cozinha, onde pudemos tomar café na 2a manhã, como se estivéssemos em casa. Relação custo/benefício muito boa.

Por causa da zona ZTL não podíamos visitar a cidade alta de carro, tínhamos que ir a pé ou pegar ônibus até o funicular. A Dimora del Riccio é um pouco isolada dos meios de transporte públicos, o que é bom para o silêncio à noite, mas ruim para o deslocamento até a região histórica de Bérgamo (cidade alta).

A pesar de estar solo una noche , me sentí como en casa

El anfitrión Pierre súper atento y una fácil comunicación ya que nosotros somos de México y el señor hablaba un casi perfecto español que nos hizo la estancia mucho mas placentera, al parecer hay un error por parte de booking y nos había enviado a otra dirección y al hacérselo saber a Pierre, el muy amable y sin tener que hacerlo, fue por nosotros al rescate y nos llevó al alojamiento que nos regalaron unas vistas increíbles al lado del bosque e incluso un pequeño río y con ese paisaje al salir a caminar fue todo un deleite, el lugar tranquilo y muy cómodo, estuvimos cerca de 2 semanas en Europa y sin duda fue la mejor cama en la cual pudimos dormir. Cuenta con todas las amenidades ya que llevábamos cena y nos prestaron el micro ondas para calentar, el señor Pierre siempre está atento a que pases una buena estadía y te ayuda en todo lo que esté en sus manos, si tengo que regresar a Bérgamo sin duda me volveré a alojar en el mismo lugar

Un giorno a Bergamo

Casetta molto accogliente con tutto il necessario. Bellissimo soggiorno di una notte. Letto molto comodo. Ospite molto simpatico e disponibile, ci ha dato molti consigli per visitare la citta. Localizatta benissimo per visitare. 😊😊😊 PS : bisogna fare attenzione a l'accesso alla casa siccome puo essere un po piu conplicato con una macchina troppo grade.

La stanza che abbiamo prenotato aveva un bagno privato ma non nella stanza.

Posto incantevole

Persone gentilissime e molto disponibili, La signora Marcella è suo marito ci hanno fatto una super accoglienza, dandoci ottimi consigli e rispondendo a tutte le nostre esigenze egregiamente. Una bellissima location immersa nella natura, con camere pulitissime. Ottima colazione al mattino e splendida terrazza esterna... Un paradiso d tranquillità... Grazie infinite!

Zentrale Lage nahe der Altstadt

Ungewöhnliche, grüne Lage hinter dem Altstadtkern von Bergamo. Man kann zu Fuß laufen, braucht aber rund 20 min. Großes Zimmer mit eigenem Bad und Wellnessdusche quer über den Flur, unten gibt es eine Küche. Bequeme Betten, Deckenvetilator ist klasse. Der Gastgeber erklärt einem alles und hilft weiter.

Die Anfahrt ist herausfordernd, beim VW Caddy hat man max 5 cm seitlichen Platz vom Spiegel und die Auffahrt zum Haus ist sehr steil. Man soll dort oben möglichst nah am Haus parken und sollte das gleich beim ersten Versuch meistern denn danach geht das nicht mehr da man am Hang nicht wenden kann ohne durchdrehende Reifen. War alles etwas aufregend. Zudem etwas hellhörig, wird im Flur unten laut gesprochen, hört man das oben noch sehr gut.

Alloggio nel verde vicino alla bellissima Bergamo alta

Molto bello il posto, isolato nel verde ma a pochi minuti in auto da Bergamo alta raggiungibile anche a piedi in una ventina di minuti.

L'appartamento che ci è stato dato era grande e molto attrezzato, peccato l'odore di chiuso o di umidità che abbiamo subito avvertito. Comunque molto pulito.

Tolle ruhige Lage und super Gastgeber

Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderbar ruhig und idyllisch – in etwa 20 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Altstadt. Das Haus steht frei und bietet eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Der Inhaber ist außergewöhnlich nett und hilfsbereit. Wie echte Touristen haben wir es nicht geschafft, mit dem Auto durch die schmale Straße zum Hotel zu fahren – sie war einfach zu eng für uns. Doch der Gastgeber hat uns sofort abgeholt und geholfen. Als zusätzliches Plus haben wir ein größeres Zimmer bekommen, da es gerade frei war – eine schöne Überraschung! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Posizione scomoda, strada di accesso imbarazzante, c’è un punto stretto tra due case antiche dove chiudendo gli specchi passava forse un dito x lato… (ho un suv) magari con utilitaria è un problema inesistente… Gatti che girano ovunque anche negli appartamenti, non si possono vedere! Struttura passabile………
