Beautiful Bergamo

Location is excellent. Easy walking distance to both the train station and Citta Alta. Very warm and comfortable, room basic but clean with fresh towels daily. The breakfast is amazing with so much choice and lovely breakfast staff on hand discreetly. The day we were missing breakfast we ordered a take out bag which was full of goodies including 2 pieces of fruit. It was very generous, maybe a small cheese to go with the crackers?

Not enough electricity sockets to allow for charging of devices. To boil the kettle we had to unplug the TV.. One day the coffee sachets were not replaced but the receptionist did provide more, very helpful. In the bathroom there's a telephone on the wall and the cable and top of the phone full of dust and never cleaned!

Next time will try a different hotel

It is close to Bergamo center and to the old city. You walk 15min then u reach the funicular to go up to the old city. And u walk 15min to reach the shopping area. The room was clean.

1- Personally the bed and pillows were not comfortable, for my husband they were. 2- The breakfast is served from 6.30-10, we went to eat at 9:30 the buffet was not refilled which was kind of weird. The scrambled eggs were cold and there wasn’t lots of food variety. We were not happy. 3- Some of the receptionists could be more smiley :)

Pleasant stay in Bergamo

The staff were friendly and helpful. The Rooftop Restaurant was excellent for food, wine & the experience. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The location was very good also for the Old Town.

The rooms were nice but need updating. Our balcony railing was rusty and the carpet looked old in places and was stained.

Good option for a short stay in the center of Bergamo

The bed was comfy and the breakfast was really good. Also the location is great, near the center to where you can simply just walk.

The bathtub was a bit old/dirty, without hand shower.

Lovely hotel

The hotel is in an excellent location to explore both the lower and upper town. Helpful friendly staff and a great breakfast selection each morning. We were lucky enough to stay in a newly refurbished room which was extremely comfortable.

Overall quality of rooms, breakfast and location a winner.

Rooms excellent, good breakfast, ideal location, room cleaning lady was superb and showed innate niceness.

About 50% of reception staff were arrogant and had attitude issues, despite our attempts to be nice and speak some Italian. One’s face doesn’t crack if one smiles. Maybe a look at lunch/dinner food options would be useful. We arrived late and didn’t require the rooftop.

Lovely hotel with excellent location at the foot of Citta Alta

We lived in the new part of the hotel where the rooms were new and with high wuality.

The elevators where slow and not synced so it took some time to get down to breakfast.

Great Hotel, great location.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, just at base of the old town. Stayed for 3 nights. We slept well, there was no noise and the bed was very comfortable. The room we had was recently renovated and it was very tastefully done, lovely neutral colour tones. Great breakfast, lots of choice. We will definitely go back. There is lots to do in Bergamo and looking forward to returning.

Exceptional

I had a difficult day and when I arrived at the hotel, the way I was welcomed made all the difference, it completely changed my trip for the better. From the super attentive and professional receptionists, the breakfast and dinner staff, the facilities, the location, everything was perfect. I recommend it to everyone and on my social networks, and I will definitely be back.

Great location, only 14 minutes walk from the train station. Bus stop nr 1 just 2 minutes from the hotel (the route is from the airport to Citta Alta). Around 10 minutes from the funicular stop. We had a Beautiful view from our room. Good breakfasts, very nice staff. We arrived very early, we could leave our luggage at the reception, and when we came back at 12, the room was already ready was us and our suitcases were in the room.

There was a problem in the bathroom, because the glass is too small for the shower and the water was everywhere on the floor. Unfortunately, when we checked out we were charged with the TAX (28€) despite booking said it is already included in the price.

I am very pleased and when I return to Bergamo I will stay to the same hotel.

The room was very comfortable very cleen and whith exceptional view. The location of the hotel is in the mmidle of the city.But whith out much noise. The breakfast covert all tastes and needs.

It was lovely and I would stay there again.

The beds were extremely comfy.

They were doing some sort of renovations in what sounded like the next room to us. The drilling started at around 7.30/8am and was extremely loud.
