The location is absolutely great. You have bars/restaurants around the corner. Food store is 1 min away. A few minutes to a bus stop, and you can walk to the old town as well. Room was clean, check in was clear, comunication with the host - easy. its a great place.
I could not find a kettle for tea, but i guess drink coffee when in Italy :)

Wenn ich nach Bergamo zurückkehren würde, würde ich wieder bei Alessandra buchen. Der Blick über die Dächer hat mich direkt in die Italianità katapultiert. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, zeitgemäss eingerichtet, auf gutem Standard und gross genug, das Bad ebenfalls. Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher kommen gelegen. Wer es ruhig mag - es gibt keine Rezeption, ich war mit der Gastgeberin per WhatsApp in Kontakt - ist da am richtigen Ort. Wer sich Geschäftigkeit in der Unterkunft wünscht, nicht. Es ist ein Gasthaus, es gibt also nicht täglich Zimmerservice. Ich wurde nach der zweiten Übernachtung angefragt, ob ich eine Reinigung wünsche. Einchecken durfte ich früher als angegeben. Alessandra hat mir ein kleines Video geschickt, wie ich das selber bewerkstelligen kann. Das ging prima. Mit dem Bus der Linie 8 und dann der Linie 1 gelangt man zur Standseilbahn, Funicolare. Allerdings kann man auch schön zu Fuss, direkt vom Platz, zur Città Alta aufsteigen. Das Teatro Giuseppe Donizetti und die Innenstadt der Città Bassa sind zu Fuss in ca. 10 Minuten erreichbar, oder man nimmt den Bus 8, denn man kauft am besten gleich bei Ankunft eine 1-, 2- oder 3-Tageskarte für alle Dienste. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.
