Umah De Arlika UBUD

Family running this homestay were very friendly and hands off, respecting my privacy. Room comes with breakfast and OMG, the absolute BEST pancakes I had anywhere in ALL of Indonesia! Every evening they asked what I wanted for breakfast and what time and it was there on the balcony as scheduled. They even made something for me I had been searching for even though it's not on their menu. There are only two villas sharing a wall and a long front terrace. Never heard noise from the adjacent unit. They provide hot/cold water from a unit on the balcony, all day/night (help yourself). Each room had table settings, coffee & tea. Aircon was cold! Hot water shower. Centrally located, within 400m(?) of Ubud Palace.

Not so bad for me but there are roosters, thankfully not sounding off until mid morning!

La señora que nos atendió fue muy atenta. Todos los dias con un detalle en el desayuno para nuestro hijo. Una auténtica homestay, un ayabitacion dentro de una casa balones.

Staff really friendly, comfy bed and breakfast absolutely delicious! They even made me some noodles when I got up late. Plenty of animals as well, chickens, cats and doggies (yes they can be a bit noisy but hey, that’s nature)

The shower head sprays water a bit in all directions, but that's a minor detail.

Here we found the best fried Banana we have tested in all Bali and Lombok , fresh unlike many restaurants, the breakfast is good! The all family is very friendly even if they don't really speak English. Ask them the shortcut to the rice walk from the back of their garden. Close to the restaurant and center. Nice little garden, here you can see how Balinese live. They provide water from container.

This is a budget accomodation so the bathroom is not fresh... the hot water is a bit random. Big bed but no liner to protect the mattress.
