Very responsive host and clean room. Daily breakfast including fruits included and they were delicious. They also have daily cleaning service. Beddings are clean and comfortable. Spacious balcony with peaceful tree view.
It’s located inside a small street so car cannot get in, a good 10-12min walk from the main street, it has a very quiet and chill vibe. Shower head is a bit malfunctioning, but water pressure is great. Shower gel/shampoo, some utensils/cups could be provided. Would be nice to have anti-slip mat for bathroom to prevent slipping. But overall for the price, it’s very worthy!

The hotel is quite clean. Near the market. However, if you drag a big suitcase by yourself, it will be very tiring. The road to the homestay is very narrow, taxis cannot enter. The owner helped us a lot.
There is no kettle so it is very inconvenient. We want to drink tea or have a bowl of noodles in the evening but we can't.

Very nice hosts, great location
Breakfast was eggs, which I don’t eat, but everything else was good

Clean
Not suitable for senior or those who are frail as there is a steep slope to walk to the property and the steps going into the room is high

You can easily walk to the city centre
You pay a small amount for a reason.
I had to leave my stay 2 days earlier as I didn't feel comfortable in my room. When I left, the people there didn't ask me why, neither they tried to make it better.
the description of the room says it is soundproof, that's not true, I could hear people next door and upstairs. (Talking, having intercourse etc)
Plus, in their room, there's a lot of humidity, so be prepared for that.

The location was perfect, only minutes away from Ubud centre but the property is in a quiet area. The family who runs the property were super friendly and helpful. The communication before we check in was running smoothly and when we asked for an early check in and we got replied straight away. The AC was working perfectly fine, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and had a good water pressure with hot water running, and mostly we like the view from our balcony. If you want to feel relax and homey when in Ubud, there’s no better option than Taman Puspa. Eventhough I only stayed for 2 nights but I can say it is one of my best stay during my travel. Thank you very much
Definitely nothing

They took good care of some medication that had to be kept in the fridge. The owner always ready to help and paying attention if you need something or when you want to have breakfast.
Good value for what you pay without a doubt.
Good quite location and nearby the center.
All good, I would just add a mosquito net.

I had a very quiet nights of sleeping in this place, very nice place to sleep, I coudn't hear anything but rain during night, very Balineese style house, the oowner is helpfull and cooperative, and makes a nice small breakfast meal, I liked the space outside the room where I can set and have breakfast and tea infront of alot of palm trees, the bed was super comfert, I had a great privacy in everything in this house
The room painting was not so nice, the lights was week, it's not easy to reach the owner to ask for something, no phone in rooms, the stair to the upper level is so small, specially if you have luggage, the room curtains is not completly blocking the room from the outside.

I'm sorry but I can't give a good rating. The wall is full of mold and the room stinks. I don't know how it is in the other rooms. We had a double room, two beds separately.

Large room with tasty breakfast and Balinese coffee every morning.
The property is located on a back street from the main road, taxi cannot drop you directly to the entrance. As a solo traveller with heavy luggage this was a a bit of struggle.

location is great. Family there is very nice and helpful. Beds confortable and clean. Perfect for the price we paid in February low season.
Water from shower and sink stagnate and don’t drain well.
bath is small and the shower has no curtain or screen so water flows everywhere. Due to this humidity is really high and smell. anyway, price was cheap and good enough for February low season

Meet my expectation.

This accommodation is in a beautiful family home stead , and the people are an absolute delight . The location is on a busy street , but set right back , so the traffic does not bother you .
Huge steep steps up to the room , so no good for someone with mobility issues , the room stunk of moth balls , and basically was far too hot for us , despite the air con . But if you are looking just for something cheap and cheerful with a nice breakfast and lovely people book it .

If you are looking for a peaceful authentic amazing balinese experience, then the Taman Puspa is the place to choose during your stay in Ubud.
We have spent 15 days at this homestay and it has been our best hotel in Bali.
The couple of owners are just wonderful people who welcome you in this quiet atmosphere with kind and generous and always smiling faces.
The place is beautiful, 7 minutes walking from Ubud Main Street and still located in a very quiet street . You will be surrounded by the family temple and gardens...
The room was simple but cosy and very clean, the bed comfortable and the homemade breakfast each day different and delicious.
We loved staying at the Taman Puspa and definitly strongly recomand it.

Location - easy to walk to stores downtown. All people at the homestay were friendly.
Breakfast was good. (Very small portions).
I did not feel safe there as a solo woman traveler. Had a bad experience with a taxi driver and he came back to the place the next morning and knocked on doors until he found my room. After I told him to leave, I heard him laughing with one of the ladies who worked there. I packed up my things and left, even though I had paid for one more night.
Other people staying there were making a lot of noise at 10pm, 12am, and even stomping up the stairs at 4am.
The bed was ridiculously firm, and it was difficult to sleep.
Not knowing I was supposed to tell them what time I wanted breakfast the day before, I missed breakfast one day. Since it was so small, it didn't really matter, but I was disappointed.
I do NOT recommend this place for solo travelers - especially women.

The breakfast was great - be sure to tell them the day before what time you want to eat or you may not get it.
Very friendly delivery and great fruit.
The people in the homestay were all friendly upon coming and going from my room.
View from the room was nice, especially at sunrise.
Easy to walk to shops and restaurants.
I didn't know to tell them I wanted breakfast every day at 8am. I thought that was the plan each day when she asked me what time for breakfast at check in.
The neighbors were INCREDIBLY noisy, coming in and slamming things at 10pm (20:00) and 12am. Another backpacker came in at 4am and woke me up. I know this is out of their control, and something to be aware of.
The bed was not comfortable, extremely firm mattress. The windows and mirrors need to be cleaned.
One night, I had a taxi driver that was inappropriate and canceled the ride for the next morning. That next morning, he came knocking on doors until he found my room. After I sent him away, I heard him and a lady laughing and speaking in Balinese so I could not understand what was said.
I no longer felt safe, packed up, and left a day early even though I had pre-paid for one more night.
I do NOT recommend this location for women traveling alone.

The staff is really friendly. The bed was comfy and I enjoyed my hot showers. I was only going to stay one night and stayed an extra night. Breakfast and coffee brought your room.
Nothing that I can think of.
