Beautiful and peaceful oasis in the heart of Ubud. Wonderful staff and excellent value for money. The daily breakfast is enough to keep you full for the day. I’m so glad I spent 9 nights here as a base for exploring Bali, and highly recommend it.

Everything was good - central location, clean and comfortable room with everything we needed. Felt home like and very clean. Breakfasts were delicious and nutritious. Made and his team are so friendly and helpful. We loved Shakara and we will recommend this place to other people wishing to visit Ubud.
maybe just one thing which was very minor - the steep stairs by the road that could maybe benefit from having a handrail. That’s really the only thing.

Kleinschalig guesthouse. Dichtbij centrum Ubud, rustig gelegen.

All staff were very friendly. The guest house was very clean - the en-suite bedroom, the breakfast area, the garden and pool areas too.
I liked everything.
