Quiet location in the jungle

The hotel is close to the city center, yet away from the main streets, so it is very quiet and very helpful staff.

There were ants all around, and it was extremely humid. Towels did not dry properly, which was uncomfortable. The shower curtain can be replaced, as it was moldy.

Warm welcome from all staff.

The view from the room was excellent. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the family temples in side of the hotel property.

The shower had not enough water and there is not a certain in the bathroom. Therefore the floor of the bathroom is watery and slippery.

Fantastic find

We loved our stay at Tigata, the views, the breakfast, the sparkling pool, the massages arranged through reception, the comfortable room, it was all great. Loved that we could walk to town but that the guest house was set back from the busy road. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and stylish location in central Ubud - super friendly staff

It's an amazing and unique little family-run hotel in cenral Ubud. Despite this central location it's very calm and quiet as soon as you walk in the property you leave all the noise and craziness behind and find yourself in a picturescque zen-garden facing to a little valley. Decoration is both modern and traditional. You get also a glympse on how a tradiotional balinese house look like - because while accessing to the hotel you literally walk trough parts of the family's living space in the front yard. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Room size/storage space - could have been a little bigger/more, with 2 large/medium suitcases sometimes it was a logistical challenge to pack things in/out. However, this was just our room, haven't seen the others, and lot of reviewrs found their rooms spacious enough.

AMAZING STAFF AND BEAUTIFUL ACCOMODATION

The staff members Wida and Sudani went above and beyond to make our stay amazing, helping us with our bags right out to the road as and when we were leaving and they were so friendly and helpful for the whole duration of our stay they are an asset to the place and was a pleasure to have them there. Had an amazing couples massage at the accommodation. The mini bar was very convenient for when we didn’t want to leave and the rooms were clean and well air conned. They even did us a message on our bed for our anniversary which we were so grateful for!

The location was a little hard to get around as it was by a one way street so was constantly stuck in traffic but would be fine if you weren’t venturing too far out.

Quiet, secluded but still close to Ubud town centre.

The location is great. It’s in a secluded part of town, about 3 minutes walk from the traffic. Monkey Forest is 20-25 minute walk from the hotel. Mason Elephant sanctuary is a short taxi ride. The environment is lovely, looking down into a small river lined by trees. It’s a family business. In fact you have to walk through the family gardens to reach the hotel.

A gem in city centre of Ubud

The staff is realy great. They asked about our needs and were verry kind and helpfull. I travel with my daughter and felt realy safe in the neighbourhood. Everyone is kind. City center is 7 minute walk and the place is verry clean. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast was great. Beautyfull and quite area in city centre with severall shops, restaurants and super markets around the corner.

The staff are super friendly and accomadating. It's in such a great spot to get around on foot. The warong restaurant just down the road has the best nasi Goreng. Highly recommend anyone to stay here as it's close enough to everything but tranquil as well.

The location was great because we could walk to everywhere we planned. It was located in the middle of Ubud but it was on a quiet street with a view of the "jungle" :) The breakfast was delicious and the staff was really accommodating. The property is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures.

Really nice hotel located directly by the forest, in the city center. The room was spacious, many choices for breakfast and really nice staff.

Amazing hotel very lovely staff

I cannot recommend this place highly enough, the location is great, a quiet street away from the traffic. We booked an airport taxi through them and it was as cheap as booking in town and staff helped us with our bags in the rain at 5am which was so kind! The pool is small but lovely and beers/wine in mini fridge were reasonably priced so was laundry

Enjoyable stay

The rooms are well equipped, the bed very comfortable, air co efficient and quite. The towels and bed linen were all thick and crisp. The setting was lovely looking into the trees. The whole property was clean including the pool. Staff lovely, although language challenging at times. For coffee Seniman closeby is good, and Pizza Cult highly recommended.

The distance to the main drag is quite a hike. The footpaths very uneven. The grab drivers had difficulty finding our location, make sure you message then to say you're on Sri Wedari waiting. The breakfasts were just ok, very basic.

The BEST place to stay in Ubud

What a surprise from when you walk into their area. Pool, garden, beautiful setting overlooking nature as you enjoy your breakfast. Lovely come home feeling after a busy, noisy day in the town. The perfect stay. Quiet, no traffic at all. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Many personal touches showing care has been taken to make this a special place.
