Area was nice enough and there was a few shops within walking distance.

Cereal wasn`t to my preference. but the bread was ok

Washing machine was rusty and the tray was dirty. Nowhere near enough electrical sockets in the kitchen or front room. Beds were comfy enough.

Clean and tidy. Kitchen had all you needed. Perfect for what we needed - a few nights stay visiting family in the area. Enclosed garden for dogs.

You get what you pay for...

Unfortunately, the property was really unclean. There was mouldy food in the cupboard and none of the crockery was clean enough to use without cleaning first. The bedding was stained and there were strange stains on the walls. I feel like the place needs a thorough deep clean and a few hundred quid spent on fixing the broken bits like the curtain pole in the bedroom and the weird hole in the floor in the bathroom. That being said, the location was great and a really quiet area. The breakfast was a lovely touch but unfortunately the butter that was left had been used before and was full of crumbs which isn't ideal for me as I have coeliac disease so couldn't use the butter with the bread I brought. I did email the manager and thought he might offer to send someone to clean or something but he didn't. So although check in was easy and straightforward I wouldn't say customer service is amazing. I got a really good deal but if I had paid full price I'd have been very upset and honestly I still think I paid too much. I guess you get what you pay for though.

Very enjoyable and excellent value for money

Pleasant breakfast, perfectly adequate for our needs

The main room tended to get quite cold in the evening and we had no means to turn up the heating. I think it needs to be switched on around 7.00pm each night for a couple of hours. However, it came on at 6.00am each morning which is ideal.

Location was good, big garden, comfortable mattress, nice size property overall and safe driveway parking. TV good. Easy access with key lockbox. Good heating and lovely hot shower.

Not clean, stained bed linen, stained towels upon arrival. Does not match the description on booking.com and despite the cleanliness rating its not professionally cleaned. Just vacuumed throughout, nothing more than that. We arrived late as toured on our way there. Initial impression was nice quiet, safe location. Property in Need of re decoration but not of overall concern, until we saw all doors were marked with hand prints and dirty marks, as we're bannister, light switches, and the dining table was sticky, as we're all the place mats. My partner wiped the toilet seat with tissue before using and the tissue was yellow. :( Kettle wasn't working. Upon going to bed, we found stains on all the bedding. We were too tired and it was too late to contact the host. We luckily brought our own duvet, but we laid our towel on top of some of the stained area. My partner couldnt sleep well. We considered just leaving but decided to give the host an opportunity to resolve things. So we reported this to the host first thing and he did contact his cleaner to attend to replace kettle, linen and clean all the basic areas especially touch points which were obviously grubby. On our return we found new bed linen and kettle which was good. Unfortunately the dried in milk In the fridge and all the property was still not cleaned. We informed host again to request a refund for no cleaning costs and least one nights fee. He said he would consider after our review. We decided to involve booking.com to express our dissatisfaction. This didn't help much as they contacted the host again and despite us advising we did not want the cleaner to attend again as it was late, and we had had to clean all the touch points& basic areas ourselves, it would be pointless. The cleaner arrived at 720pm despite this and I had to get out of the bath. The cleaner blatantly stated she had cleaned the house before we arrived but didn't today.

Breakfast was a small pack of cereal. Bread supplied but no butter. Good location with parking outside the door.

Warm Comfortable Stay

The cleaner was very charming.

Bed sheets were very thin blankets. Mattresses not that great either. I didnt like the cigarette stains on the living room carpet. Both TVs in bedrooms dont work due to having no connection or aerial Comfortable but rough around the edges.
