1 Bedroom Flat in Sheffield City Centre-Sleeps 4

The apartment was very well furnished and had everything we needed and the host, Tatyana was very helpful. Although the location wasn't central it was close enough to walk into the centre and easy to catch a tram to the centre too.

Apartment was clean, tea & coffee were provided, host was friendly and communicated throughout the whole stay. A lot amenities and facilities provided; cutlery, crockery, hairdryer, kettle, microwave, tv, dishwasher, fan, spare mattress, shampoo, body wash, iron. There are lifts in the building, though better to enter via left entrance, as right entrance, although has a lift too, requires going down a few steps - so not ideal for people with heavy suitcases. Wifi worked fine - no issues. Has Netflix.

Stayed by myself in mid August, so flat got a bit hot; a fan was provided but i had to move it into the living room during the day and back into the bedroom at night- could do with 2 fans, especially if more than 1 persons stays. Plates and pots may need replacing as they are scratched. Freezer door didn't close properly and needs fixing, but remained closed once you closed the entire fridge/freezer main door. This affected food in fridge, causing them to semi freeze. Toilet seat was a bit wobbly. Minor fixer upper needed around the flat; cracks by window ledge, cracked frosted mirror, broken slidable door. Bigger bin needed in living room; 2 microwavable boxes will fill the bin up.

Tatyana's apartment was easy to locate and great communication made it easy to access. The apartment was clean and we could easily walk everywhere in Sheffield centre. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable.

Sleeper couch was slightly narrow, okay for young children. Some small things could make the kitchen better, such as scissors and sharper knives.

Good price and location

A number of things (a) apartment is small, not even enough room around the bed for suitcases (b) there’s only natural light into the kitchen / lounge (c) though there’s a lift there are then stairs in the corridor (we had heavy suitcases) (d) I am 6 feet tall and found the bed with its metal frame top and bottom of the mattress uncomfortable (e) finding the property could have been simpler, this was probably my fault but the cars nav system on the postal code took us to the next road, the doorway was not opposite the named restaurant, the key safe was at ankle level behind a metal fence. In retrospect I should have read the many instructions but I’d also suggest the instructions need a clear summary
