Loved it was warm and cosy and on a bus route to York. So well equipped and had everything we needed
It was perfect, just a shame the local pub was shut for three weeks and therefore no where to walk, for a little atmosphere. Disappointing as one of our search criteria but at no fault to the owners

Beautiful little apartment with everything we needed. Quiet location and easy to catch public transport into the city’s. Owners were lovely and very helpful/accommodating
The stairs may be an issue if you had mobility issues or old age but I didn’t have an issue.

Lovely stay in November
Beautiful cosy cottage with a secure front garden which was great for our labrador Bruce. The main bedroom and bathroom are both huge! Bed comfy and kitchen well equipped. The cottage is perfectly located for visiting York, Ripon and Knaresborough and surrounding areas. The village of Alne is really beautiful too, lovely and quiet but with a pub a couple of doors down and a mobile bakery which parks up Saturday mornings opposite the house!
The only problem we had was that we found the hairdryer was broken, otherwise everything else was perfect
