Lovely setting. Safe and clean. Cafe next door has everything you need. Small and compact. Great for one night.

Some staining on the roof inside where they’ve obviously had a leak and it’s stained the wood. Looks a little unsightly.

Small site, felt like it was in a lovely garden. So quiet, beautiful location overlooking a picturesque pond with a little waterfall, fish & 2 ducks, with nothing behind us but farmer’s fields. The shower & fully equipped kitchen were spotless & well thought out. 3 minute walk into the village where the local pub were so friendly, excellent food & service. Cafe at the front open from 07.00 for breakfast, really reasonable prices if you don’t fancy self catering. Each pod had its own little private seating area too. Our pod had a glass door overlooking the pond. Fell asleep to the sound of a breeze in the trees, birds tweeting & the gentle waterfall in the pond. Very comfortable & peaceful nights sleep.

The key code for the key safe given by booking.com is incorrect. Ignore this & use the 1 the owner sends separately. I had a panicked moment when we couldn’t get in but the owner answered his phone straight away & gave us the correct code. He was really helpful & pleasant when we saw him & chatted briefly the next day. For longer stays it might be a good idea to have more clothes storage in the pods eg a little set of drawers or perhaps some shelves would save space. It wasn’t an issue for us though as we were only there 1 night so lived out of the bag.
