We refused to stay !!!

Nothing !!!

Filthy !! The bedding was stained and unwashed !! It absolutely stunk with brown strain pillows in the pillow cases. The bathroom was even worse, still poo in the toilets piss stains all over back of the seat, hairs and grime in the shower. Dirty mouldy windows full of condensation

TV couldn't pick up a signal so either the aerial or the TV was broken The cups wasn't clean and the shower although worked was broken at the attachment to the wall The bed wasnt comfortable Noisy at 3am from other guests probably drunk after a night out I guess you can expect that in Blackpool though lol

Host friendly enough but needs loads of improvement

There was no catch on bathroom door so it didn't close properly, the door on the wardrobe was hanging off and it didn't look like they put fresh bedding on...I would only recommend this place as a joke

Location

Everything. Dirty, stinking bedding, smelled like it hadn't been washed for months. Sticky, tacky surfaces that you could scrape dirt off with your nails. Water leaking issues that had been paper and painted over. When I spoke to the owner, he didn't want to try and solve the problem, he just said he'd move his car. Absolutely diabolical

Free parking whilst staying here... Able to park up and go to the airshow without having to search for a car parking space. Shower gel in the shower cubicle.

The clutter, the decor of the communal areas, the room, broken blinds, window stuck open, terrible beds and bedding. Disgusting state of the kettle and cups. Ensuite horrendously filthy. Nothing in the room was clean from the ceiling to the floor. Poor state of everything, pillows smelly.

It wasn’t clean and the bed was uncomfortable, lumpy mattress. Decor needs updating, sink had a crack in it. The room was dirty and needs a good deep clean

Liked the staff but not enough to stay again

We had room 12 it had a beautiful view and the staff were so welcoming and kind.

It wasn't very clean, especially the bathroom hemce. we didn't have a shower, and it had dated decor and needed some TLC. The room was TINY for saying it was advertised as suitable for a family of four. the three of us were on top of each other and the beds were so hard I struggled to get to sleep for ages Other guests were having an altercation from 1am outside (to the extent that the police were called), and it kept me awake, but thankfully, not my kids. I appreciate this isn't the managers fault, though.

It was not clean enough. Just 1 window open, and we’re boiling inside. Dirty towels, and blankets. Bathroom with hair everywhere, the sheets smelled bad, just boiling water. Closet and drawers were dirty.

Hotel has Free parking it was a little tired and old fashioned but the staff were very friendly alot of the hall walls had been freshly painted and we had Room 12 with a sea view our Room was clean and so was our bathroom and our Tv worked ok to I will come and stay here again.

In 50 years of staying in several hotels a month..this is THE worst..filthy..dangerous..smelly..filthy bedding...just appalling.!! Roberto (host)was a nice chap..located at pleasure beach .. Avoid at all costs ..

Don't bother I'd sooner sleep on the street

Stay well away host was overly but by god the dirtiness of the hotel is beyond me! Definitely wouldn't pay £20 for a night never mind the £55 asking price literally walked in checked in and hacked out and stayed somewhere 10x better for same price

Didnt like anything wine in a half pint pot pool table was sponsored by gorilla glue the balls didn't move it was that sticky TV in room clearly for decoration only as it didn't work. Windows u might aswel not bother as they are that dirty you can't see out the bed was like something from the exorcist shall I continue

The wallpaper looked like it was falling off, the bed was really uncomfortable, there was no hot water, and there was rubbish left in the cupboard.

Good Welcome Staff, Free Car Park in the front of the hotel and a good Breakfast.

The room was poor with a small monitor TV above the wardrobe. Poor shower that still had hair from the last user and it needed a good clean, hence we could not use it, and the bathroom main light was out.

Bathroom tiny couldn't even fully open the door without knocking toilet seat off. Sea view but the window double glazing had failed, also the window wouldn't open. Old non matching bedding. Felt like we were staying in someones spare room rather than a hotel.

Very cold stay at The Roman Hotel

The location

No heating. No hot water so could not have a shower. Bed was terrible. The walls were thin. My car was blocked when trying to leave the hotel.

Won’t be returning!

The location of this hotel is great, you also get free parking! The host is a nice man and that is where the positives end! I walked through the door and there was a collapsed table in the entrance, it was literally like stepping back in time! The place is filthy. There were metal blinds in the bedroom that were dirty and all bent out of shape, the shower in the bathroom was absolutely rotten and meant we didn’t have a shower in the morning. They said there was tea and coffee in the room it was milk and sugar nothing else. Checkout was 11 we left at 10 and so did everyone else from how empty the parking area was! This needs a full refurbishment and couldn’t imagine anyone staying more than one night!

Was greeted and shown to our room , staff very helpful and friendly room was clean and tidy pretty basic but was perfectly fine for what we needed and for what we paid

Only thing was couldn't use shower as was only letting out scalding hot water and couldnt find anyone to report it to and was a lot of noise through the night from other guests coming back but wasn't a big problem

The staff were amazing, went above and beyond what they had to. Location was great close enough to everything we wanted but not too busy, great sea view room.

The water pressure in the shower, was either freezing or boiling there was no in-between but we could live with that.

this is not a family hotel very loud and a lot of drunks booked last minuet as couldn’t get in travel lodge very disappointing, rooms are tiny toilet seat broken, shower barely worked! people screaming and shouting at 2/3 in the morning not what you want when you have a baby understand that’s not the staff fault!

Really dated. Old mismatched broken furniture everywhere, broken windows/glass partions covered with tape. Not very clean. Handles missing from wardrobe. No heating, cold shower, broken toilet. Broken blinds with missing slats, with no curtains. TV didn't work. Bedding didn't smell clean and the duvet and pillows were like a sheet of paper, so thin. We went and bought our own duvet, pillows and bedding. £20 extra for breakfast, definitely not worth the money.
