Considering I was the only occupant on a freezing November Monday I received a warm welcome, I was offered a choice of rooms and the location was a minute walk to the local tram stop.
My room was well equipped with a good shower, breakfast was first class too.
I will happily return on my next trip to Blackpool, thank you.

Decor a bit tired

Breakfast was amazing.
Poor shower, little storage space in bathroom, black mould in shower, insufficient toilet paper. Handrails on stairs grubby, other paintwork on doors needed cleaning. Room wasn't serviced at all during our stay, our bin was overflowing and coffee / milk wasn't topped up. Towels were supposed to be changed after two days, they weren't.

Within walking distance to the pleasure beach. Lovely sea views during the day and the illuminations during the night. Quiet and comfortable nights stay with a fantastic full English breakfast in the morning. Accommodating and friendly staff.
There is nothing here not to like! Decor is slightly dated but simply adds to the charm.

The owner is one of the nicest people.
He was friendly accommodating. We paid £108 for 3 of us and this included breakfast and parking. It wasn't the Ritz but we didn't pay Ritz prices. Bar prices were pre covid prices. Typical Blackpool B and B but the owner made it more than that. Would recommend
Bit noisy when other guests were coming in late

We couldn't stay at this hotel, we had to stay next door at Ocean bay hotel.
Ocean Bay is in a good location. We wanted a sea view, which was lovely.
Double mattress was very comfortable.
Good sized bathroom.
Free parking.
Fair continental breakfast.
Lots of sockets.
Friendly landlady.
Horrible dirty towels.
No hot water
Squeaky bunk bed
Dirty windows
Very rusty radiator in bathroom and curtain pole/ curtains.
No hot breakfast offered, no decaf coffee, no real butter, etc.

Very accommodating host. Friendly feel, beautiful breakfasts! Thanks so much!! We will return again soon!
Could just do with some shelves or little table in main bedroom to put things on. As the kettle and cups in child’s room which I had to move into main bedroom so could use it when daughter in bed. That was all though! So nothing major!

The location is excellent, being very near to the tram stop and to the Pleasure Beach. The view of the illuminations from my sea view window was lovely.
Kaz and his family gave me very personal and attentive service which is very different to the chain hotels and was much appreciated.
Breakfast was delicious.
There was plenty of coffee available in the room which is always a good thing for me.
The mattress desperately needs changing and was uncomfortable. The pillows and quilt were fine though. It was a bit chilly in the room at times as the radiator was not available.

It was quite a walk to the main attractions

Parking outside, lovely hosts, sea view, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, short walk to amenities, close to velvet coaster, nice room at front to sit and look out, quiet location.
Extractor in bathroom needed dusting, maybe a tray in room for cups as had to put wet crockery just on table top, only one teaspoon as one of us drinks tea the other coffee. All else fine.

Bathroom small, not that you spend a lot of time in there.

Clean. Friendly. Close to pleasure beach. Kaz the owner was an amazing kind bloke. Couldn’t have done enough for us. Great atmosphere in the bar when we got back from our day out. My son is 12 and everyone made him feel great.
Absolutely nothing to pick fault with. Amazing place.

Friendly staff, polite. Close to pleasure beach
The mouse is in our bathroom at 12 am in morning. After seeing the mouse run in front of me while mid flow on the toilet, we decided to pack up and go, 6 year old cried first night saying something was on his bed aswell we put it down to new place maybe but now it's very possible that there was atchually this mouse on there. Then it run back of sink down a hole in floor boards.. tired, and a 2-hour, 30-minute drive home was a struggle, but we weren't risking a rodent biting or anything in the middle of the night.

Our Host was brilliant. We were welcomed, he guided us to the car parks, and he cooked us a fabulous breakfast.
The hotel is dated, but so is everything in Blackpool. The room was comfy, quiet, and the bed was excellent. Shower was also good.
Our room overlooked the Promenade and the Irish Sea. A 15 minute walk to a great local pub for beers and dinner. The tram passes right in front.
We can't fault the place - highly recommended!
The place is a bit dated, but nothing to deter us coming back again.

The location to the train station (Blackpool Pleasure beach) is a real plus, literally a 5 minute walk, Kaz and his staff are really helpful and friendly, good bar area with a pool table, reasonably priced drinks, and an excellent breakfast. Good value for money.

Excellent location - easy and quick access to attractions and beach. Free parking (in front of and behind hotel - we used the latter). Value was good given we paid £280 for 3 nights in peak time (July 25). Bed was comfortable and shower hot with 2 settings. Manager Kaz friendly and made us feel welcome. Sea view in room was lovely. We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on food, but tea and coffee in room (again not used but given comments below I doubt it would have been replenished at all)
What was advertised was not what we got. Chocolate for guests not provided. Remote has no back so batteries exposed (risk hazard for me given I have young kids). Curtains didn’t block light well at all/not even fitted well. Caught our feet on the metal carpet guard across the floor. Had to ask to have fresh clean towels daily to replace our wet ones. Bedding not changed once during 4 day stay, nor were our two bins (full by the 4th day). Dust level on picture above bed and behind it was disgusting to be fair. Behind toilet exterior dirty, black mould in shower cubicle and damage to walls filled in with filler but not repainted. Wall paper peeling off ceiling, door to room didn’t fit the door frame! Bathroom door didn’t stay closed, swung open and had to use a cushion to keep shut when not in use. Bathroom door lock broken too. All very negative but for somewhere just to have a hot shower and lay our heads at night, it did the job.

My 8 year old daughter thought it was fantastic!

Location and free parking good
Absolutely disgusting and filthy hotel. Soiled bed with no mattress protector and bobbley sheet that (no exaggeration) scratches you. Filthy dusty and debris on floors, broken shower and shower tray fills with water, can only have a very quick shower. Noisy inside the hotel at night and early hrs in the morning. Toilet door doesn't shut properly with no handle on inside to get out. It's so run down I was very disappointed and felt dirty when leaving. Breakfast was vile, very greasy and glasses smelt like stale dishwasher water, juices didn't seem cold so was warm apple juice. I would avoid.

Not a lot to like to be honest!!!!
You had to hold the toilet seat up with your back as it didn't stay up on its own, the door to the bathroom didn't close properly, the door to the room didn't fit and just rattled and had a gap. Music, drinking and shouting went on till 2am even after I sent a message at 1am asking for music to be turned off. No apology in the morning and no message. Loads of flies in the foyer too, infestation or something!!!!

The host is excellent. Couldn't be more helpful. It is located near the tram line. Past the pleasure beach. I personally didn't mind the walk and it's away from the busier and somewhat down trodden centre of Blackpool. The b and b has a small bar area and parking. The room was fine, if not a little tired in decor. The full English breakfast was exceptional and overall it is good value for money for the room, parking and breakfast included. Would recommend.

The owner (kaz) was lovely, the breakfast was amazing. The location about a 10 minute walk to the pleasureland, was close enough blackpool to make everything walking distance, but far enough away to be peaceful. A massive bonus was it being on the front too so literally cross the road and we could walk the seafront.
We ended up having tea unexpectedly in the hotel the 2nd night. It was a last minute decision as we were so tired from being in the pleasureland all day, my toastie was stunning and my daughters pizza was beautiful. We would definitely come back here if we go back to Blackpool.

Staff friendly.
The room was supposed to be deluxe. Hair and dust on the window sill. Wiped that off. Went into the bathroom waste pipe was filthy, plug in the shower had black all around it. The sink was tiny you couldn't even have a decent wash or clean your teeth without hitting your head on the shelf. Needed decorating.
I felt as if I'd stopped in a different hotel to other reviews. Very disappointed, didn't bother complaining as we were only there for two nights.

Door was missing handle leading to bathroom which caused it hard to close. More sockets needed In The room and darker curtains
