Horrendous. Would never stay again even if paid to.

I stayed here in November with my 8 year old daughter. When I checked into the hotel, I advised the staff member I would be checking out early due to attending a dance competition. When I came down to check out at 7.45am, there were no staff available in the morning to check out. I had to ring someone off site who arrived at the hotel to wake their employee up, this was after around 30 minutes of calling two phone numbers, one of which was the emergency number for the hotel (this phone was locked at their reception and not even with the staff member who stayed on sight for ‘emergencies’ ). A lady attended the hotel after around 40 minutes and managed to eventually wake the member of staff up. The reason I had to check out and I didn’t just leave is because the staff will take your car key when you check in, so that if you are blocking another car in they won’t wake you up to move your car they will do this for you. So I was stuck at the hotel, with no car key and nobody answering the phone for over 30 minutes. The room was small, dirty, there were stains on the bed, the windows were old and wouldn’t lock correctly. Only one lock on the door which is the lock to open the door. No further safety features, which when you are travelling as a lone woman with a young child this was not ideal. Because of these factors I was unable to sleep during the night due to safety concerns and conditions of the room.

A great, friendly stay.

The breakfast was the best I've had in years. Cooked fresh, exactly what we asked for. Attentive staff. Breakfast serving staff chatty but very pleasant. They made everyone feel very welcome.

I don't think anything could be better. We had a really good price for one night, we were on the sea front. Although we had to climb to the top of the hotel for our room. But again a cheap price.

Staff are great really lovely friendly and helpful. Location is perfect . Breakfast is great more than satisfied. Loads of tea and coffee in room with more on request. On site parking.

Overall very good weekend

Breakfast was lovely and hot both days we ordered it, hot exactly what we ordered, Phil was an excellent host/cook, room a little dated (window couldn't be closed) not an issue as we had a decent weekend weather wise, parking excellent

Rude owners Tired property

The staff were friendly the breakfast was ok abd it was on the seafront

The owner was rude and disrespectful. We told them the night before we were going straight after breakfast and was told that was ok as they had keys to the cars parked behind me.when we finished breakfast at 939 we were told we had to wait up to half an hour as they didnt have the keys after all. I had a 7 hour trip with autisitic kids already in the car. When i complained to the ownr he said if i didnt like it he would make me wait till 2pm. As he didnt have to move the cars. I said i would call the police and he said he didnt care. Rude was an understatement. I waited till 930 as breakfast was 830 till 930 so it gave people chance to eat their breakfast. This owner needs to learn some manners.

When we arrived the staff said that it was 10 pounds to park our car. There was no mention of paying for parking on the website or reserve a parking space. The room was small and the the table in the room was more like a bar table with stools.

Great little budget hotel!

The host was very nice, couldn't do enough for us, very friendly helpful guy. Rooms were clean and the shower was hot and powerful, great value for money. The breakfast was great with fast service, definitely one of the better budget Blackpool hotel, will be staying again in the future

Lovely stay

It was a lovely stay, near activities and the beach. My little girl loved it! The breakfast was lovely too, but unfortunately, I wish they would offer more, as not everyone is comfortable asking for more without feeling judged. For example, if I asked for an egg, hash brown, and beans, and I only got one of each, which is not filling for one adult, two of each would be nice, like people with a full English breakfast.

I didn't really have any issues here; I would just like it if you could provide more time with breakfast, as 8:30 to 9:30 AM is short. We would appreciate breakfast around 10 AM, so we can have an extra lie-in, as we are on holiday. Another thing is, would it be better if you had a front door fob keyless system where we can scan our fob to access the hotel, as we did struggle to open the door. Bedroom keys need updating - we paid for a few rooms, and a few of them were really old, and we couldn't get into our rooms.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was perfect for us with children.

I was expecting entertainment of a kind but there was nothing only a pool table, which desperately needed some tlc, the bar, (if open) shut at 10pm, the mattress was really old, worn out and uncomfortable, the springs showed and felt through the sheet, the shower leaked and we didn’t have enough towels, cups etc. 2 adults and 2 children for 3 night,(4 days) and no room service at all! no towel change, no cups cleaned, no rubbish removal.

Friendly, comfortable hotel

Always come back to this hotel, location is fab right on beachfront lots of walking to the different piers. Staff are all friendly, beds comfortable no complaints.
