Was Great for the Price

Great Friendly Staff Parking outside for additional charge Options to have early check in and late check out at a charge Was very cold that weekend but they kept the heating on that was good as we had a 2 year old with us so we didnt get cold We had our own key Fob so we could come and go as we wanted

Not suitable place for family

This stay was wholly unacceptable and unsafe. The room was unfit for occupation due to a significant gap in the window, allowing continuous cold air to enter the room. The heating system operates on a restricted timer and does not function overnight, causing the room temperature to drop to unsafe levels. We were staying as a family with multiple children, one of whom was shivering from the cold and unable to sleep. This situation posed a clear health and safety risk to children and represents a serious failure of the hotel’s duty of care to provide safe, habitable accommodation. The issue was reported to the lady at reception, however we were informed that nothing could be done and that there were no alternative rooms available to move us to. Despite being made fully aware of the risk to children, no solution or support was offered. During the night, there was no staff available at reception, making it impossible to seek further assistance. The contact number provided on Booking.com did not work, and multiple messages sent through the Booking.com app received no response. As a direct result of these unsafe conditions and lack of action, we were forced to check out after just 1 night, despite having booked and paid for a 2-night stay. This decision was taken solely to protect the health and wellbeing of our children. This experience constitutes a serious breach of basic accommodation and health & safety standards. I would strongly advise families, particularly those with children, to avoid this property. This matter will be escalated further with the booking platform.

It was a nice hotel but needs improving alot.

The location was in a good position to everything.

It was very cold because the heating wasn't working very well. And I couldn't use the shower.

Not bad

Nice seaview decent sized bedroom, basic but clean. Rest of hotel very tatty and dated needs serious upgrade repair. Staff very helpful.

A bit forgotten place but in first line of seafront

+ Location + Easy check-in/out + Close to Grocery shops, McDonald's and Pub

- Very outdated and basically run down place - quite dangerous floors & stairs conditions throughout whole building - no remote control to the telly which cause problems with switching on the device - very limited coffee & tea - water condensation inside windows - scruffy looking (but very helpful and polite we need to admit!) staff

Wouldn’t recommendc cancelled us 2 hours before check in and still waiting for a refund

Nothing, we got our room cancelled at 11:30am when we was checking in at 1pm and had already set off on our 2 hour drive to Blackpool, we booked a double bed and 2 single and they offered us a double bed and a single instead. I got told if I cancelled through booking.com a manager would authorise it asap and it’s now 2 days later and still no refund, even though we had to then pay for another hotel

The worst

Sea view room was nice

Everything else! The hotel is filthy, the room was freezing and nothing worked! There were no bath towels and the bathroom was the dirtiest I have ever seen. I complained about the temperature of the room but was told that boost was on and it would warm up. It didn't. My daughter was up crying in the night and if we hadn't of travelled so far I would of driven home

Served it purpose for 1 night.

No restaurant here so cannot eat. Bedroom clean comfy. Great view from the window to the front - only reason we booked here. The whole hotel needs a massive makeover and overhaul. Very old, worn, outdated, tired. It needs thousands spending on it as its not good enough as it is.

Bugs in the room, dirt and dust in room, hair clips from precious occupant still in bathroom and all over bathroom floor. Smell from bathroom. Had to leave all windows in room open. Light bulbs not working in bathroom and main rooms.

The room is basic and was good value for a short stay. The room was clean, the shower/toilet room were clean and there was clean white bedding on the beds. However, it would of been good to of had a couple of spare blankets in the room. The quilts on the beds were a little thin being summer quilts and it did get chilly during the night, so spare blankets would be helpful. Staff were friendly and helpful

Get what you pay for

Got what we paid for… a room for a night for less than £100. Staff were lovely. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Not too far to walk to centre.

We booked two rooms, one of the toilets wouldn’t flush and we also couldn’t get any hot water for a shower. But other than that we would stay again

Disappointing

We had a Seaview room, but would of been better if the windows were clean. The location is fabulous. If a bit cleaner and upgraded slightly this could be a very nice hotel as it's in a prime area. Staff friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately our room wasn't cleaned properly, we found old chips on the carpet, shower had not been cleaned properly as we found a used shower gel packet in there and i had to clean the sink with my face wipes, and managed to get it sparkly clean afrer getting old soap residue off it. . I also found a advisory note from the laundrette to the hotel about the stains on the towel ( attached to the towel) so had been missed. Head boards bang on the walls and because of that the next room kept me awake all night because of the constant banging of the headboard. It did bang with every move you made so I put something behind hours because I thought that could be annoying for next door but unfortunately my neighbours didn't think to do this!!.
