Exceded my expectations in terms of price. I would love to stay here again.

Staff was (unexpectedly) on site to welcome us upon our arrival for large family gathering nearby. They were kinkd, helpful, able to answer our questions and concerns. Room was very comfortable, nice natural light, beds were just great, very clean white sheets, spacious bathroom too. Quiet little balcony off of room, with a wonderful view. Parking not a problem at all in the area around hotel. Perfectly acceptable little breakfast for a perfect little price. Fresh fruit, warm croissants, and fresh, hot coffee and tea options. We are very satisfied.

Very quiet and lovely place for a short stay where you don't want to spend too much time in the room

The area was tranquil and peaceful, with a lot of nature surrounding it. The room was not very big, but it was enough for the stay since we spent most of the time exploring the surroundings, and we stayed for a short time in the room.

The cleaning was not very thorough.

The room was small, but it had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find any information about the Wi-Fi in the room, and as we were working and returning late each evening, there was no one at reception to ask. It would be really helpful to have all the key information available for guests upon arrival. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, but we were kindly offered a free coffee, which was a lovely touch. The location suited our needs well, although it is quite a distance from Hamburg city centre.

There’s really nothing to dislike about this hotel. It’s a basic but good, simple business hotel. I wouldn’t choose it for a honeymoon or a romantic stay, but for business travel, it offers everything you need.

Common balcony attached to my room did not feel safe as solo travelling woman

I did not know there would be a commonly used balcony directly attached to my room. Upon opening the blinds/curtains, I saw a group of people sitting and drinking on a big balcony, which directly looked inside my room. If i left the curtains open, they could see all of my room. Plus, I could hear them chatter until 11 PM and cigarette smoke came inside my window. Even if the group was friendly, I did not feel comfortable opening the windows because of noise and smell, and anyone could climb inside the window at night. When trying to talk to the receptionist about it („The balcony was unexpected“) the woman only nodded and did not reply unfortunately. I really wanted to like the hotel as it was nicely located but this ruined it for me and should be more clear in the description!

Amazing experience at the villa in the peaceful area of the city

I've had an absolutely fantastic stay here! The staff went above and beyond, and exceeded all expectations: they were kind enough to inform guests about possible road/transport closures way in advance, and kindly warmed up my very own meals. The place itself is straight from a fairy tale, being located in a mansion in a picturesque and peaceful part of the city, you cannot believe, you are a few stations away from the rustle and bustle of Hamburg. Yes, it is not very central, but if you ended up here, you probably know it already. Comfortable beds, huge bathroom. You get access to hot water/tea and there's always fresh fruit on offer. The rooms on top floors have an adjacent balcony, which is an absolute blast, especially in good weather.

The only inconvenience was the fact that the reception hours are somewhat limited (in case you need something in th afternoon/evening, you'd need to wait until tomorrow), but it's not super unusual.

Nice area, great location to visit Hamburg, free parking on the street, bus in front of the house, S-bahn in 10 min walk. Tea and fruit available daily. Easy self check-in via a keybox. Would return definitely.

Very decent, but over-priced.

If you're driving, as we were, the location is convenient for the Elb-tunnel, and the hotel has an underground car park. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet. The staff at the hotel are friendly and courteous. The breakfast was good, if a bit on the expensive side (11 euros/person).

It's quite expensive for Germany. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but small and very basic.

Exceptional

My stay here exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean and had a great atmosphere. Being on the second floor, there was a lovely big window that looked out onto the many trees- very quiet and peaceful. The rooftop terrace was a relaxing place to drink their delicious coffee. Breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend this place.

Gerne wieder

hatte kein Frühstück gewählt, war alles pirma. Check-In via Code hakelig da mein Schlüsselfach leer war. Später festgestellt, dass jemand anderes gleichen Code erhielt. Hotline-Kollege sehr nett und bemüht. Warum auch immer, der neu genannte Code war auf der Tastatur nicht einzugeben. Dann aber plötzlich doch und mein Zimmer war prima.

Zu viele Mails im Vorwege was ich alles planen soll etc. - die Buchung gibt doch Info, dass ich aus Hamburg für eine Nacht da war weil mein Zuhause im Nordosteneben 1h vom Eventplatz im Westen Hamburgs war.
