Perfect stay in a lovely part of Hamburg.

The hotel was magically covered in a blanket of snow and the surroundings were lovely. The room was really comfortable as was the bed. The hotel were great at communication and very clear on how to access our room especially as we were later due to a snowstorm slowing us down. They weren’t able to do dinner but gave us an excellent option and we had a lovely meal at a local restaurant. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and delicious.

Fabulous location, housecleaning needs a bit more work.

The location is spectacular. If you like the outdoor walks through forests and along the river -- it is the perfect place to stay at. The view from the outside balconies and veranda are breathtaking and creates a very luxurious feel. It is the perfect place for workshop conference stays.

If you are staying on your own, only breakfast is served and if you do not have a car, you will have to walk at least 1.5 km to restaurants or take a taxi. The housecleaning was not so well done and the single beds are rather narrow. Also note of caution -- the front desk/reception desk hours are limited so if you check in outside of those hours -- as I did on a Sunday, no one is around and no facilities are open. It was like a ghost town.

nice small hotel

highly recommended hotel , exquisite stay. remote location , quiet. good breakfast. easy parking. there is a really nice route for runners and hikers. there is even a balcony in the rooms , which is nice

i do not mind , but there is no tv in the room. if you wake up late , there is lots of noise because of cleaning the other rooms.

As many other guests of the Elas Brandstrom Haus have stated the breakfast was extremely enjoyable. The view of the place where the breakfast was served was really nice. I would also like to mention their nice staff, they were friendly and did their best to communicate with us as the only English-speaking guests on the day of our presence.

There are minor things that I would like to see there to make the stay perfect. Having a mini refrigerator and television in our room would have turned our experience from "very good" to an "Exceptional" choice. As a personal preference, I would have been more relaxed if there had been a shower slipper in the restroom too.

We didn't notice this when we came in late on a Saturday night, but our bedroom door opened straight into a corridor where a seminar or workshop was happening. We woke up on Sunday morning with the sound of chairs being moved around, and someone trying to start a presentation. It was a little bit awkward.

Nice quite place to stay in Hamburg if you do not feel like staying in the city.

The location is fantastic, very quite y very nice . Breakfast selection is small but still very good, eggs cooked on the spot is a plus. The rooms, while a bit small are very modern and with a great view and super quiet. Parking is for free and there was always a place.

There is no TV in the rooms, so I had to talk to my wife =)

Beautiful 💫

It is everything that you expect from a guesthouse! It is super clean, well designed and managed. Last minute I had to cancel one of my two nights stay, and the receptionist was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast is tasty and well done.. all from quality to service. We went for a one hour walk around the area and the river side, it was peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend this place.
