The hotel was magically covered in a blanket of snow and the surroundings were lovely. The room was really comfortable as was the bed. The hotel were great at communication and very clear on how to access our room especially as we were later due to a snowstorm slowing us down. They weren’t able to do dinner but gave us an excellent option and we had a lovely meal at a local restaurant. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and delicious.

The location is spectacular. If you like the outdoor walks through forests and along the river -- it is the perfect place to stay at. The view from the outside balconies and veranda are breathtaking and creates a very luxurious feel. It is the perfect place for workshop conference stays.
If you are staying on your own, only breakfast is served and if you do not have a car, you will have to walk at least 1.5 km to restaurants or take a taxi. The housecleaning was not so well done and the single beds are rather narrow. Also note of caution -- the front desk/reception desk hours are limited so if you check in outside of those hours -- as I did on a Sunday, no one is around and no facilities are open. It was like a ghost town.
