Comfortable and warm clean hotel with excellent breakfast

Lovely and warm as it was in the middle of February. The room was very comfortable and everything we needed. The staff were very attentive and polite. Hotel was clean. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Nice location overlooking the sea. Everything you need for a nice trip away to the Isle of Man

Great location and price

Easy check in process, they messaged me prior to arrival to let me know where my key would be if they weren’t at the property. Room was what we needed and clean. Great location and Breakfast was lovely. There is a lovely pub just a minutes walk called The Queens, staff were lovely there too! Would stay again.

Great hotel and excellent value for money.

Really nice hotel. We arrived in February so it was out of season. The check in was flawless and we checked in earlier than expected. The communication was great. The room was excellent and had everything you needed. We had the deluxe room on 3rd floor, it was very spacious. The breakfast was incredible. We had the full English and it was massive with two of everything! Plenty of choice on the menu from cooked options and continental. Friendly staff and welcoming. We would stay again.

The only thing I would say is that the bar wasn't open but we were there out of season so maybe that's why. There is no lift either so for anyone who would struggle with stairs this could be a problem.

Great breakfast with a la carte menu as well as continental breakfast. Menu includes usual English breakfast options as well as French breakfast and local kippers. Tea and coffee making machine in the breakfast room as well as in the bedroom with free biscuits.

Nice modern room, good facilities and location.

Great room, very large and comfortable. Fantastic view. Walk-able to the city centre, probably about a mile but if you don't fancy that there are pubs and restaurants near by. Very well located for the electric railway and horse drawn trams, if you go when they are active. Staff were great, full explanation of how things work upon arrival and were eager to help with any queries.

The hall and stairs are a little tired, but for the minute it takes to walk through it's not a huge issue.

Very comfortable stay and thank you for the hospitality.

We had breakfast included but didn't attend. Location is great, on the front and easily accessible. Taxis are really quick. We had an horrendous experience with the Premier Inn and the Inglewood saved the day. The gentleman on reception was 5*, so helpful and welcoming to us. Room was spotless, service was great and I would recommend the accommodation to anyone looking to stay in the area.

What was not to like. We will return.

Very welcoming and staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was fab and the choices was exceptional. My 9 year old Grandson said "I know there is always room for improvement but in this place I don't think there is" 5 star. Praise indeed would highly recommend. Rooms were cleaned daily and tea, coffee, biscuits and water replaced every day.

I wouldn’t book this hotel again as staff is happy to leave family in unhygienic condition and as excuse is being first

Breakfast was very nice. Room was nice and would be comfy if the waste pipe wasn’t blocked and we wouldn’t be without use of bathroom whole night.

At midnight I found disgusting things coming out of the toilet. Floor stinking and flooded. Water dripping from the ceiling bellow our room. Duty manager on call said he is there first day and can’t help. We ended up sleeping late with my young son and stinky unusable bathroom whole night. In the morning we got a key for a room on different floor and without checking in what unhygienic conditions we are left, were told if our room isn’t sorted out by the evening, we can move to different room. Only when I said we will be booking different hotel, we were allowed to move to different room. 4 star hotel?

First time to IOM and couldn’t have found a better place to stay. Perfect.

Absolutely faultless. Very friendly. Lovely breakfast. Clean and nicely furnished rooms. Lovely little bar area. Stunning sea view. Lots of parking available. All in all it was excellent.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property or the staff/owners.

OK for short stay

The staff were very friendly on check-in. It is a fine enough location, although a little walking distance from the central area for bars and restaurants. The bed was comfy and clean. Adequate bathroom. Decent TV. It had an iron/board, kettle, etc, available. It was warm enough. Fine enough for a short stay. Can't comment on breakfast as I never had the opportunity. It is near the Electric railway and horse tram. Bus stops outside. Nobles parkrun not too far away.

I'm unsure why it is classed as four star. The room and corridors seemed a little dated. Not that it bothered me, but no lift and stairs quite narrow. Noisey when anyone in the corridor. The carpet was not well hoovered. The hand soap and around tap need a good clean, hair trimmings were in sink. The TV was good and had an Amazon firestick attached, but this remote was the only one and couldn't use it with free view, apart from changing volume. The kettle was a little dodgy. The bed frame was a little bulky for the room and a trip/banging into hazard. It is about 25min walk from Ferry terminal and main bars and restaurants.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay, fortified by a great breakfast!

An excellent location on the seafront, midway between the town centre and the electric tram, plus close to bus stops. A comfortable room and a good shower. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. And all very good value. Having been a regular visitor to the Isle of Man over many years, this is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in and I will be back.

The only downside was the lack of a lift which wasn’t a problem for me but perhaps for some.

Birthday break....

Was away from centre. Can't fault the staff that were on duty. Friendly & helpful.Wondeful breakfast selections from continental to cooked. From front door through to dining area was always exceptionally clean. Plenty wardrobe space & drawers in room. Cleaner in everyday to refresh and replenish drinks tray. Free wi-fi. Handy for bus stop.

Tried book sea view, unfortunately couldn't, only 4 rooms have it. Shower room 3 was in need of refresh,/regrout (?) Room little dark,not a nice view,but can't fault the rest being clean.

Nice hotel for the price

It was on the sea front but didn't have a good view. The communal bar area had a great view and was very nice. The bedroom was a good sized room and had a lovely sofa and was very clean.breakfast had a great range to choose from

It was quite far from anywhere. The room had no view and you could hear people in nearby rooms. The bed was far too soft and the plumbing in the shower poor as didn't drain out. The bar area was lovely but the guy serving although polite was loudly on his phone the whole time

Unforgettable stay with an exceptional vista

Character property, overlooking the promenade. We had a superior suite on 3rd floor overlooking the sea. The customer service is excellent and the various options for hot breakfast are cooked to perfection. Highly recommend it.

The key code for the safe to retrieve our room key did not come through until the next day which was quite frustrating Thankfully the manager had turned up for something and retrieved the room keys for us after 40 mins of wandering around and not knowing what to do

Two night stay over.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Liked the lounge bar. Though we're not able to provide a drink i asked for as the bar had run out. A decent sized room. Enjoyed the breakfast. Which offered a wide choice of fruit with cereal, plus some sweet pastries, toast and a cooked breakfast.

The en suite was rather small. No shelves for my toiletries. The shower head kept moving to one side. The only way to have a shower was to remove it and hand hold it.

Large, clean rooms. Location is on the seafront. Excellent choice of breakfast.

Dated interior. No night manager so late arrivals have to work out how to get their own key. Property advertised parking which I paid a premium for - there isn’t any. On road parking only on a first come, first served. I enquired about this prior to my stay and received no reply from the hotel.
