As usuzl hotel staff, food & location was spot on however the bathroom was not very clean the grouting is black in places and brown marks around toilet area which were there for my 3 night stay but easily wiped off with tissue when i.left.

Hotel was in a prime spot for the horse tram rides and the manx electric railway as well as the bus stop just outside.
Food good as well and the hotel was very nice

We asked for sea view room when booking and got a tiny room with a view of an internal wall with flaking paint.
There was a noise, like the sound of drill or machine throughout both nights. We reported this to the staff twice who did absolutely nothing about it.
At breakfast, there was never a time when all items were available. They ran out of bacon and when they replenished 10 minutes later there were no fried eggs or scrambled which then took another ten minutes.
I booked this for our 20th Anniversary and the hotel overall ruined our weekend
