It appear to have been updated fairly recently, to a good standard. Due to my reason for being there, I didn’t avail myself of all facilities, but it appeared to be well appointed in all respects.
The floor was a bit wonky or uneven in my room. Stabilised long term subsidence I expect. You might say it is characteristic of its original age.,

Check in was OK and we knew considering what we were paying that this would be what we would get. Shower was good. If a humble bed and breakfast is what you are looking for then this is your spot
The room and hotel smelled quite bad and the room looks old and tired. Our room had a very musty carpet and windows which didnt fully close, and a tiny TV around 3 miles away from the bed. Parking is quite difficult and nearest we found was around 500m to the hotel.
