Great location. Close to the electric railway, short walk to the shops/ bars restaurant and right on the seafront. Pub next door offers a great Sunday roast.
Fabulous breakfast, cooked to order.
Miriam, Lesley and the whole team were very welcoming and any questions I had before our trip, and during, were answered promptly.

Kings House is a family owned and run hotel and this shows in the friendliness, care and consideration you get throughout your stay. It is well placed on the sea front towards the Onchan end, a short walk from the electric railway and horse tram depots and handy for a number of high quality restaurants/pubs. Make sure you have breakfast at the hotel though because it is very well done and you look out over Douglas Bay as you eat it. Parking is on road but it’s free and we always got really close or right outside during our stay. I certainly never fretted about leaving the car when in Douglas.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the sea front and not far from the port. We got a really warm welcome when we arrived from all the staff. Our room was beautiful, spotless clean, good amenities and the most amazing views.
Breakfast was delicious, a very good choice of continental and full English, all really nicely cooked and presented in the stunning dining room, over looking the promenade. The attention to detail was lovely, gorgeous tableware, fresh flowers on the table and the service was great, it felt like nothing was too much trouble.
We would love to return in the future.

Just the sea view
The room need a complete renovation,very old poor furniture very smelly stains on bedding,no one was around to ask for information.Lessley was kind and helpful.
