Originally hoped we would eat dinner at the hotel on our first night but received an email about ten days ahead to say no longer offering dinners. Liked that we were informed in advance. So we went out to nearby Beauly and had a meal there in a local hotel.
We opted for simple breakfast of cereal and toast but other guests seemed to enjoy the cooked breakfasts.
Our room was quiet and the staff were lovely.
The car park is rather unsightly with enormous potholes which were filled with water when we stayed. It is not the best introduction to the venue!
Our twin room only had one chair, so one person had to sit on the bed. More a niggle than a deal breaker!

Restaurant was closed and the hotel is quite isolated, so you need to take the car for dinner

A quaint old inn in a quiet, picturesque location a short bus ride from both Inverness and Belladrum. Very clean, breakfast was excellent, and the inn keeper went above and beyond to help us when we found ourselves in a conundrum.

The history of the place and the workers were helpful.
We were not made aware that the kitchen and restaurant were closed until we checked in. The only available food was for breakfast. We only had two options for delivering food via app. We did not have a car. We literally chose this place due to the great reviews on the restaurant and food. It was a big disappointment to say the least.
