About this lodge
Anchor Lodge is a semi detached property on the shores of the Beauly Firth and only 5 miles from Inverness. It has spectacular sea views over the Beauly Firth and wonderful wildlife spotting opportunities from the sofa! All bedrooms are furnished to a comfortable standard and are en-suite. There is a large kitchen and dining room and a separate sitting room and conservatory. The perfect location for large groups or families to use as a base to explore the Highlands or just stay and relax.
The space
A semi detached property that was once a hotel now converted into self catered accommodation. It is incredibly spacious making it a fantastic place for family, friends and groups to enjoy. Anchor Lodge is right on the shores of the Beauly Firth so you get wonderful views and a relaxed feeling by the water. All bedrooms are furnished to a comfortable standard with new beds, feather duvets and cotton bed linen. Every bedroom is en-suite with bath and shower. There is a large kitchen with all facilities for cooking including a dishwasher, microwave and all cooking utensils, perfect for catering for large numbers. Next to the kitchen is a large room with panoramic views across the Beauly Firth to Inverness and the mountains beyond. This room has a large dining table meaning everyone can enjoy their meal together. There is also a comfortable seating area to socialise and a pool table. This room makes a wonderful space for everyone to socialise together. For a bit of quiet there is also a sitting room with a large television. Next to that is a conservatory with comfortable seating. Anchor Lodge is the perfect location to use as a base to explore the Highlands or just stay and relax and would suit large groups or families wanting a holiday together but with enough space for some peace and quiet too. There is plenty of parking space, a lawn with picnic benches, lovely walks along the shore front and a play park for the children.

You will be provided with keys and have access to the accommodation as you wish.
Other things to note
During high season we only take weekly bookings, Saturday to Saturday. We also take bookings through Coulmore Bay Caravan Park.
We are happy for people to take their dogs on holiday but please ask in advance. We do not charge but do ask you to please clean up after your own dog. Please so not allow dogs in the bedrooms or on the furniture.

The house sits on the bay and has a fantastic view of the water. It is very large with separate bedrooms and attached bath for each. The kitchen and living areas (there are three) were great for conversation and cooking. Overall and wonderful property and experience.

This adorable place is a perfect location for those visiting the Inverness area. There is plenty of space for everyone in your party, with an en suite with every room. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Our only regret was not being able to spend more time enjoying the place itself.
Our hosts were wonderful, it was obvious they have been hosting people for quite some time as they anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. And check in and out was a breeze. Should I find myself in the Inverness area again, I will certainly consider another stay here.
