Breakfast was excellent. We upgraded from Budget room to the Delux room, which was excellent, maybe a little pricey, but worth it. Great views, comfy bed, nicely decorated, great shower.

The location is excellent, and there's a lot of history around the Nessie story, which is worth reading, especially the Jail story!!
The room was very basic in the "block" at the rear of the old hotel main building. More motel than hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, though.
