Perfect hotel with wine shop in the very center

Room was modern, neat, clean, with small kitchen facilities (all you need except microwave oven). Shared terrace on the roof. One can self-buy local wine from the fridge of the wine shop even in the night. Staff friendly, speaking English. Very centrally located. The city is cosy and beautiful. Wine testing in almost every second restaurant, very special atmosphere.

Everything was great but check-in information was saying arrival before 18.00, so we rushed to make sure we come on time. The check-in in the hotel is in wine shop/restaurant which was open until late that Friday, so I assume we could have checked in even after 18.00. So hotel might want to indicate this information if my assumption is correct, and guests might want to call the hotel to learn if later check-in is possible on their day of arrival. Anyway the hotel is great.

Very friendly service. Comfortable and small, 7 rooms in total. Hibana. Well furnished. Romantic roof terrace. A particularly good breakfast. There is no access with a car and large suitcases. take a small luggage and enjoy!

Very comfortable room equipped to a high standard in a central location with great attention to detail and an excellent breakfast.

In the middle of Bernkastel

The rooms are located on top of the vine tasting room, so do go down ( before 18h) to taste some of the wines. Otherwise nicely located in the pedestrian zone of Bernkastel. Later you can buy a bottle to enjoy on the terrace.

Do take into account the reception/ wine shop closes at 18h although they do provide service also for later arrivals.

An excellent gasthaus which is extremely helpful and provides an access to buy local wine.

Excellent location in the middle of the old town which sells wine by the glass and the bottle. Comprehensive breakfast. Staff were very helpful especially over public car parking and choice of good restaurants in the town. A very useful place in the middle of the Mosel to taste and buy wine from nearby vineyards. Couldn't really fault anything.

I didn't realise that driving to the gasthaus in the middle of the day would be extremely difficult because of tourists. We therefore had to drag some very heavy cases about 300m up the hill from the public car park. My fault - but a warning on the web site would help.

Uns hat die zentrale Lage und das schöne Zimmer sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Wir haben den guten Wein genossen. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Das Personal ist sehr nett, die Lage perfekt, das Zimmer groß und ruhig, alles gepflegt - an keiner Stelle etwas zu bemängeln.

Die Lampen am Doppelbett ließen sich nicht einzeln schalten - entweder beide Seiten sind beleuchtet oder dunkel.

Lyxigt boende med toppenläge mitt i centrum!

Superläge mitt i centrum. Man bor ovanpå en fin vinbar. Frukosten var underbar, fantastisk service av frukostvärdinnan! Rummet var väldigt stort och fint. Kändes lyxigt med stor balkong. Parkerar gör man enklast på stora parkeringen vid floden. Det blir en kort promenad med väskorna till hotellet. Det står i beskrivningen att det finns parkeringar till hotellet men vi besvärade oss inte med att fråga hotellet om var de fanns. Vi körde med Google maps till hotellet, rekommenderar inte att göra det då man hamnar fel och kommer in på gågatan och smågator som man inte får köra in på. Därav valde vi att parkera på offentliga parkeringen istället.

Man får informationen efter man bokat att det inte verkar helt lätt med parkering vid hotellet. Man får även information efter man bokat att Google maps inte visar rätt väg till hotellet.

Mits aanpakken van een aantal minpuntjes wordt dit hotel een absolute aanrader!

Ontbijt was absoluut top met vriendelijke gastvrouw. Goed gelegen in het centrum van Bernkastel. Ruime en zeer propere kamer.

Het zicht uit de kamer was nogal triestig, op een vuile binnenkoer. De kamer zelf was weinig geïnspireerd ingericht. Eerder vreemd dat de hotelier me zei dat ik maar één kant van het bed mocht gebruiken.

wir wurden herzlich empfangen, alle ob Chef oder Mitarbeiter / innen waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen, die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich und haben für alles gesorgt, die Dachterrasse ist eine super Einrichtung, schöner Blick über Bernkastel, die Vinothek im Haus mit ihren tollen Weinen haben wir gerne besucht, der Mitarbeiter ist sehr freundlich und gab auch gerne Auskunft auf all unsere Fragen - rundum es war alles mehr als wir je erwartet haben, man fühlt sich in diesem Haus willkommen und gut aufgenommen und versorgt. Kann nur jedem diese Hotel- Gästehaus empfehlen

ich kann mich noch so anstrengen und überlegen ... mir fällt nichts ein. Wenn ich für die Unterkunft Sterne von 1 - 10 vergeben müsst gäbe ich eine 12

Aussergewöhnlich großzügige Zimmer, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbüffet hat alle Wünsche in sehr guter Qualität erfüllt. Die Gastgeber haben täglich ein Glas hauseigenen Sekt zum Frühstück angeboten.

Fantastisch gasthuis voor een bezoek aan de Moezel en Bernkastel-Kues.

Erg goede locatie voor een bezoek aan Bernkastel-Kues. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar en ander personeel. Ontbijt is erg goed verzorgd, veel keus en de eiergerechten worden vers bereid. Erg ruime kamers van alle gemakken voorzien. Het gasthuis ligt letterlijk in het midden van het centrum van Bernkastel.

Niets kunnen vinden wat ons niet is bevallen.

Een mooi pand in het centrum van Bernkastel. Mooie receptie, in een proeflokaal van het wijngoed. Echt een superkamer. Heerlijk geslapen, het ontbijt was voortreffelijk. Ook een geweldig dakterras!
