Perfect location for old town Bernkastel.

Perfect location for seeing old town and Burg Landshut. Also very accommodating for breakfast and other needs! We took train and bus to arrive and bus stop was very close.

Be aware that check in finishes early, they were accommodating but just something to keep in mind. Otherwise absolutely loved our stay.

Everything overall was great; only note is we didn’t have shampoo/conditioner in shower.

Nice hotel in a lovely location

Beautiful terrace overlooking the moselle, comfortable room and very good breakfast. Hosts are very welcoming and parking place next to hotel! Much recommended for a relaxed and informal holiday.

The room has a fan but no air conditioning which was a little uncomfortable as we had one really hot night out of four.

The Hotel Bären was very nice - excellent breakfast and genial hosts.

It took a long time for the water to run hot in the bathroom and when it came through it was scalding! .Other than that, everything was very good 😊

The bathroom was very up to date and modern. The beds were clean and comfortable.

The room was really small and quite dark When we had stayed before we were housed in the new building on the river. This was not offered as an option this time. One member of staff was very aggressive to my husband when he did not understand a German instruction - he does not speak the language! Sadly, we would not stay there again nor would we recommend it to friends.

Having stayed there myself on several bike trips and found it very pleasant , quite surprising !!!!!

Nice room overlooking the river ,clean and a good size .Helpful staff on arrival .

Breakfast was a bit strange probably due to them still following covid procedures .No signage in English that we could see and not aware of what procedures we had to follow ,at least one member of dining room staff was abrupt with my wife when she tried to get coffee which left my wife wishing to leave on the first morning .

Great location, very friendly and helpful owner who spoke better English than me. Breakfast has always been good every time I've stayed.

A little on the pricier side than I would normally pay, but Burnkastle is a popular tourist area. Still wearing masks however its a family hotel so they are taking precautions, as loosing a member of staff would cause problems .

Well managed, nice hotel, but at a busy road

This is a family-owned, traditional hotel with exceptionally friendly and supportive management. The property is well kept, rooms are nice and bright, with view of the river. The historic center of Bernkastel is just a short stroll away. The hotel offers some lockable indoor parking, which is however a bit narrow. Breakfast was served in a very nice room and had good quality.

There is a busy road right in front of the hotel, which leads to traffic noise also at night if the room windows are kept open (which is advisable as there is no air conditioning). There is also no space to park a car, even for a moment, right in front of the hotel. It is advisable to drive to the big parking lot at the Mosel river and walk a few steps back. There is an elevator, but in luggage needs to be carried up some rather steep outside stairs to get to the entrance.

Jolie chambre spacieuse et confortable. Très bons petits déjeuners et personnel de la salle du petit-déjeuner très souriant et agréable.

Hall d'entrée de l'hôtel pas accueillant avec vue sur les wc et très vieillot de style. Salle-de-bain dans la chambre vieillotte. Personnel à l'accueil peu agréable.

Angenehmes Hotel.

Sehr gutes Frűhstücksbüfett. Prima Lage an der Mosel und Altstadt in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Bequemes Zimmer. Zugänge etwas schmal. Es fehlt allerdings ein Kühlschrank und Zugang zu Getränken. Personal sehr freundlich. Preislich bezieht das Hotel sicher seine Lage und die besonders hűbsche Stadt Bernkastel mit ein. Leicht zugänglicher Keller für EBikes mit Lademöglichkeit. Parkmöglichkeiten beim Hotel, teilweise muss zusätzlich gezahlt werden.

Die Nähe zur Altstadt

Das Zimmer mit Balkon liegt direkt oberhalb eines riesigen Parkplatzes mit Umgehungsstraße direkt an den Hotelzimmern vorbei. Auch der direkte Blick auf die Mosel gleicht das nicht aus, da diese Ecke irre laut ist. Zudem machen viele Flusskreuzfahrtschiffe vor unserem Balkon fest, die teilweise bis spät in die Nacht ihren Diesel und Elektrik für ihre Gäste laufen lassen…. Alles irre, irre laut! Dafür ist der Preis fürs Zimmer viel zu hoch.

Leuk plaatsje, volgende keer ander hotel of andere kamer!

Bernkastel echt een leuk plaatsje, veel te beleven dus top! Hotel zat ook vlakbij centrum. Mooie badkamer. Prima ontbijt.

Superkleine kamer en vanwege de temperatuur niet te harden in de kamer, alleen een ventilator maar dat was echt te weinig om het comfortabel te laten zijn! Uitzicht was niets, totaal geen beleving van hotel aan de Moesel!

Bettwäsche war nicht sauber und musste nach Anfrage gewechselt werden.Betten waren sehr unbequem Frühstück war okay Gegenüber der Reception waren die Toiletten und den ganzen Tag standen dort die Türen offen.Nicht sehr einladend und geruchsfrei. Preis Leistung nicht gerechtfertigt.
