Brillint stuff and such a great bar but what a disappointment in the rooms and spa :(

The bar and the stuff in bar are the highlight! Spa was good but unfortunately the pool was nit heated well :(

Rooms were smelly and the mattress of the beds were so uncomfortable! This is one of the most important thing for a good hotel! U can not sleep well! If we could have stayed one more night I am sure we wouldn’t be able to get out of the bed! Auch a great spa but the pool was not heated well! U get cold in a cold weather!

Fabulous Everything property

The Hotel itself is beautiful. Great location on the river. The rooms were wonderful, breakfast delicious, and staff fantastic.

Understanding it is an older building, the rooms could use a few more outlets at accessible levels. Wifi/internet was not strong in all parts of the hotel. But, I was not there to surf online anyways.

Okayish, but not another time

Location, swimming pool and sauna. Quality of food in the restaurant and advice for pairing wines.

The best years of the hotel are already some while behind. We came here two times earlier in the last 7 years, but never again. Price/value is imbalanced. Unfriendliness of some of the staff is what sets the tone during our stay, the moodiness of the receptionist when we came late for the restaurant in the evening was if we were committing a crime… even though she didn’t inform it about closing time of the restaurant when we arrived.

Location and area is nice. The hotel itself was kind of disappointing.

Location

We didn't get the room that was advertised with. Instead we got a smaller room, supposedly an upgrade. I'm practice it was a smaller room (50m2 which was upgraded to ~20m2), only difference we guess that we had a balcony with view on the Moezel. Additionally, we specifically requested through chat if the room was equipped with a airconditioning unit, as it was not listed in advertisement and we could still cancel early. They confirmed there was an airconditioning unit. When we got there was none of course. Apparently only a very few rooms had this. If we knew this we would've probably canceled our short stay there.

Loved everything, the town, hotel, all of it!

Fantastic hotel! Breakfast options were plentiful with eggs made to order. We stayed in the Lifestyle Suite which was huge with lost of space for our dog to move around in and clean with a good modern feel. It was quiet in the evenings and had a mini fridge in it with a few items to buy. The location was great also with the Mosel being a few feet away. We didn't eat dinner there, but the small bar was great and the bartender (curly reddish/brown hair) was really nice and made outstanding cocktails. Small parking lot, but we found a spot to park our car. Would definitely recommend the place and stay there again.

Just one minor detail. The room had a mini fridge which was great, but it needed to have the temperature turned up higher because it was hot outside and the drinks inside of the fridge were cool, but not cold.

Wonderful and charming!

It was a beautiful location, with lots of charm. You are very close to everything. We stayed in the annex and had a little terrace in the sun with our room, which was just fabulous. Our room overlooked the river.

There could have been more pillows on the bed. The pillows that was there was very soft and didn’t give much support. We mentioned this upon check out as well and they were going to speak to housekeeping about it. An extra pillow in the wardrobe would be a good solution.

Perfect location on the Mosel great food and service

Great location directly on the Mosel but quiet. Lovely room with good annexe, comfortable seating and spacious, over looking the river Great food and service Car parking is limited but not a problem for our visit/ park early is advisable

some good but some could do better too!

the room was very comfortable and cleaning fab! the check was amazingly pleasant and timely after a few hours in the car and the weekend reception staff were fab pleasant and helpful

the room felt like more than 80 mtrs from the main building and spa this trip put us off using the beautiful spa much. the service in the dining rooms for dinner and breakfast was very mixed one or two very nice and several poor. we were told off for putting butter in the bread basket with the bread as it meant the lining napkins had to be changed! the buffet at 09:45/10 was picked over and fruits empty. bar service was dreadful with potential customers walking out without being served in several evenings. the check out was less pleasant told I couldn’t leave the key in the room before leaving but had to walk the 100 mtrs or more to return it by hand and unexplained items on the bill

Good

The main building looks amazing. The breakfast / dinner room is one of the best jugendstil room I have ever seen. The breakfast was pretty good. And the dinner was also good. We also liked the saunas.

Our room was in another building which meant we had to walk outside to get to the sauna. The room was a bit spooky. We did not feel relaxed being there. Maybe it was the old building. The staff was not really taking well care of the customers. They were distant / formal in communication. Also the ladies behind the counter were not really paying attention to the customers. On one occasion, where we needed help, the girl behind the counter was on the phone having an informal phonecall and left us waiting for more than 5 minutes. She saw us but just ignored us.

Lovely weekend stay

The suites were huge, clean, the staff very helpful and the location perfect - you could walk everywhere and yet it felt very quiet. The main building is exceptionally beautiful and the spa was very new and well equipped. Good breakfast. Free parking.

The (bed)rooms could have more textiles, there was quite an echo.

beautiful property in Art Deco style. Room was newly refurbished and quite modern and light. Liked the wellness and the swimming pool area. Very stylish and lovely to relax. Had dinner in restaurant Belle Époque which was an experience we would recommend. Great wines! Lovely location nearby the Mosel. Beautiful surroundings!

Lovely riverside location

The location and it’s character

We stayed here a few years ago and were very impressed but since then the hotel has taken over several other properties and this time we were in one of these which was actually a couple of streets away from the main building. Our room was nice and had a separate sitting area with large TV but we were disappointed not to be in the main hotel

Travelled a long way to stay there, was disappointed, not recommended

Mosel valley location is amazing, and the more junior staff were incredibly nice and helpful.

The hotel's much advertised Art Deco bar was closed, the equally advertised massage services booked out well beyond our stay, the wifi was too weak to use, the breakfast was tasty but we had to choose 'sittings' like a school lunch and leave before the sitting ended, the dining room was unavailable unless pre-booked well in advance and even to residents there was only a full menu available ... just not the service needed from this starred hotel

Very relaxing stay in romantic wellness oasis

Both the dinner and the lunch ("Kleine Karte") in the hotel restaurant were excellent. Our waiter for breakfast provided us excellent service. Spa and pool are very nice. Massages were great. Rooms are spacious and well maintained and well equipped.

Some of the staff, especially at the reception could be more helpful. The domicil suite smelled of cigarette smoke when we entered the room. Fortunately the smell went mostly away after several hours of venting the room. Wifi reception is great in some rooms (610, domicil suite), very spotty in others (602). If you like a firm pillow to sleep on bring your own. The hotel provides only very soft pillows.
