Bernkastel hotel

Location was fabulous. Right in Altstadt(Old town). New owners since last visit. Now Italian restaurant. Rooms refurbished and very clean. Nice breakfast included each morning. Private garage parking but smaller vehicles only.

Maybe the TV location into sitting room vice bedroom. Although only watched a little bit. Must climb stairs to room is only real drawback if not in good walking shape. Tiny portable refrigerator.

The location.

Below average breakfast (for example cold scrambled eggs) There were other noisy guests and staff didn't care at all. Church bells ring even at night

Comfortable and relaxing

We booked the deluxe suite and it was well worth the few extra dollars to have a huge bathroom, large bath (possibly with spa, but we didn't use it if there was). The shower was great with 3 streams of water available from above, shooting out from the wall and the traditional hand held. The main room was sufficiently large, comfortable and well appointed.

No negatives to speak of. In view of the rain and me being a smoker there were plenty of places sufficiently close to light up occasionally ... but I did have to vacate the premises to indulge. Possibly my problem and not the hotels ???

Fabulous hotel in Bernkastel

Location, location, location! Garage parking. Excellent breakfasts. Hotel Binz contains an excellent Italian restaurant. Very clean rooms, attentive and friendly staff.

No elevator - but we needed the exercise with all the food we ate and all the wine we drank. 🙂

Enjoyed our third visit to Bernkastel, spent as little time in hotel as possible.

Central location.

We were in the Penthouse, no lift, but seven flights of stairs, 70 steps. I would also question how this complied with fire regs as we had no alternative method of escape, which probably explains why our room had a fire extinguisher. There were no evacuation signs. Half of the light bulbs in the fittings did not work. Each morning at breakfast we had to compete with the flies for the food, on our third morning the ready made cheese and tomato open rolls were covered, I can only assume to combat the fly issue. Shower leaked all over the floor. Won’t be going back.

De locatie was top, vlakbij het historische centrum van de gemeente. Wel bevindt het hotel zich onmiddellijk naast een kerk en moesten we er het luiden van de klokken bijnemen, al van rond 6u 's morgens....

Gemütliches Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern in perfekter Lage.

Perfekte Lage. Direkt ins der Altstadt von Bernkastel. Sehr freundliches Personal. Waren super hilfsbereit bei der Planung von Ausflugszielen. Frühstück lies keine Wünsche offen. Der Check-out bis 11 Uhr ermöglichte eine entspannte Abreise. Betreiben zusätzlich ein italienisches Restaurant im Haus.

Gezellige kleine accomodatie, wel verouderd. Heerlijk Italiaans restaurant bij de locatie

Verouderd en we hadden een kleine badkamer waar we ons langs de wasbak naar t toilet moesten bewegen. Andere kamer was wel prima badkamer met genoeg ruimte

Hotel Binz – perfecte ligging en gastvrij verblijf

We kennen het gebied niet, maar zodra je het stadje in komt word je meteen verrast door de mooie omgeving. Hotel Binz ligt aan het begin van de winkelstraat, net over de brug. De locatie is dus perfect. Het ontbijt was lekker, van een gekookt eitje tot verschillende vleeswaren en kazen. Het personeel was vriendelijk en stond altijd klaar om te helpen.

De liggen van het hotel maakt heel veel goeds! Dus niks viel tegen! Maar ...we hadden het appartement, en dat is op de zolder van het hotel, dus veel trappen lopen :-)

Hotel Binz mit unfreiwilliger Weckfunktion

Ein schönes Zimmer mit Wintergarten und Balkon, alles sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet war absolut ausreichend und frisch. Freundliches Personal. Die Lage ist eigentlich top....direkt im Zentrum.

Wir werden jedoch nicht wieder in dieses Hotel fahren. Vielleicht hätte man selbst vorher drauf achten müssen, aber wer rechnet schon damit, dass morgens um 7 Uhr die Kirchenglocke circa 5 Minuten so schlägt, dass man meint, sie läutet im Zimmer.... Schade, wie schon geschrieben....alles andere top

Hotel in toller Lage

Das Hotel liegt super zentral, mitten in der Stadt – perfekt, um alles zu Fuß zu erreichen. Freundliche Mitarbeiter. Das hoteleigene italienische Restaurant bietet wirklich gutes Essen, absolut empfehlenswert! Der Garagenstellplatz war günstig anzumieten und praktisch gelegen. Auch für Hundebesitzer ist das Hotel ideal – sehr hundefreundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend und lecker.

Der Zugang zu den Zimmern erfolgt nur über Treppen, was für ältere Gäste oder mit viel Gepäck etwas beschwerlich sein kann. Das Bett quietschte massiv bei jeder minimalen Bewegung, was den Schlaf deutlich gestört hat. Die Matratzen waren sehr weich und durchgelegen. Morgens war es stellenweise recht laut, da draußen früh Stühle aufgestellt wurden.

Mobiele frigo werkte amper, veel lawaai maar geen koeling. In de kamer geur van de keuken (restaurant) verdiep onder onze kamer. Heel kleine kamer, warm!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen, es ist alles vorhanden, frisch und schön angerichtet. Das Zimmer mit dem Wintergarten und einem Balkon war genial.

Es war alles perfekt für uns.
