Quiet great stop for a road trip

Clean room and easy parking with reasonable price, charming backyard to relax, calm and still reasonable proximity to a town if you are traveling by car.

Comfortable and pleasant family pension within walking distance of the town centre.

Modern, very adequate and comfortable rooms, with terrace at the back. It's a family pension, and a special mention for the owner's young daughters, who coped very efficiently while their mother was in hospital.

Nice big room, friendly welcome, good breakfast.

It was quite a walk from the main town centre. The curtains were too thin, we were both awake with the sun. The shower had a shelf at the end to put things on, but when you had a shower everything got wet!

Overall it was ok, but lower quality for the money than other similar places we stayed on our visit

Nice gardens. Breakfast was decent. Clean. Quiet location if you prefer to be out of the center of town. Family room was spacious with two separate rooms.

They don't go out of their way to cater to non German speakers, but we got by knowing a little. It felt very casual. To put a positive spin on it you would say it was very down to earth and laid back. To put a negative spin you would say it was somewhat disheveled and unprofessional. If you want a standard, professional hotel or guesthouse experience, then this place probably is not for you. Also, the surrounding neighborhood was a mix of charming old properties and abandoned places as well. The walking path into town was closed, leaving only the road to walk into town.

A family run pension in the very outskirts of Traben-Trarbach, a big clean room at the end of the corridor, very quiet with no traffic noise, breakfast was plentiful and good, friendly staff.

The pension is at the very outskirts of the village, slightly far away from restaurants etc, especially as we had a rainy afternoon/evening. The view from the room was towards a somewhat untidy neighbourhood backyard, and the passage to our room lead past a few rooms/with open doors over-stuffed with goods.

The pension feels very homey. They have a big garden and a swimming pool which I had no time to enjoy unfortunately. I stayed too short for that. The breakfast was good and everybody helps out in the pension, even the owners children.

The pension is really cluttered. There’s stuff everywhere. Computers, cabinets, toys, wardrobes, accessories, binders for administration. It’s a lot. The room felt a little dated. The bathroom is from the 1970s and there were no little shampoo or showergel options. I used the bottle of handsoap to shower.

Ideal base for a few days Moselle. Price/quality hard to beat.

Stayed with a friend for few days. It was the starting point for a few motorbike rides in the wider area. Price/quality could not be better. Spacious, clean rooms. Very good breakfast buffet. Parking space for the motorbikes in the parking lot in front of the hotel.

The only disadvantage is that you have to walk a bit (900 metres before you get to the Moselle) before you can find a restaurant. We knew that in advance.

The breakfast was nice. Bathroom was clean, hot water in the shower and the bed was comfortable.

The place seemed a little messy and chaotic. It's far from the center of the town if you don't have a car or bike.

In het voorjaar en in de zomer is langer vertoeven ook prima. Mooie tuin, terras en omgeving.

Gastvrouwschap op en top. Ook geen verkwanselen van ontbijt. Netjes op maat aangeleverd. Mooi voorverwarmd met de pelletkachel ondanks ik gelet op het seizoen de enige gast was.

Zou 't niet weten. Tja misschien een wat betere afscherming van de douche. Nou was er enkel een douche-gordijn, goed verzorgd maar dan toch.

Familiäre Atmosphäre, sauberes Zimmer, Frühstück gut und reichlich. Individuelle Wünsche waren möglich. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus vorhanden. Gastronomie war im Umfeld eher "übersichtlich".

Recht weite Wege ins Zentrum, eher unser Problem. Hätte man bei der Buchung besser schauen müssen.

Een goede locatie voor een aantal dagen van de omgeving ye genieten.

Locatie is goed te bereiken en ligt prima. Parkeerplaatsen bij veel bezoek , kan een dingetje zijn. In ons geval steeds kunnen parkeren voor de deur. Ontbijt was perfect, gevarieerd en voldoende qua assortiment. Vriendelijke mensen die ons verwend hebben.
