Average quality for very big money

Hotel is ok. Good location. Staff is friendly, polite and responsive. Food was good.

Spa is not high level and does not smell ok near the pool. Room was not impressive. Fitness was not working. And the juice in the restaurant was awful - actually it was not juice, but the cheapest water mixed with some colours.

The only nice thing was the staff. All of them really nice and friendly. The lady at the bar did her best to make us cocktails, improvising with whatever drinks they had on stock(and the variety was pretty poor). The spa center was decent too, although the temperature in the pool could be a little higher. The bed in the bedroom was nice and comfortable. The rooms were quiet.

Let's start with the overall experience - and this is that this hotel could not, by any classifications, be 4 stars. I will be adding photos of the bathroom, the bathrobes, etc. Requested a room for 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids. The recommendation was a 1 bedroom apartment. That meant that 2 of the guests should sleep on the extended couch, which was squeaky and uncomfortable, really thin mattress and a base made of old springs that turned the base into U shape when you lay down, so made it impossible to get some sleep at all. The bathrobes and towels- it's just some old rags, with holes and strings hanging down. No slippers were available, no vanity set ( a staple for 4 star hotels) - only 4 sachets of shampoo. Living room furniture - old and broken, starting from the couch, which was not suitable for sleeping, moving to the living room table, that was also just barely standing. This was not only annoying it's just dangerous, especially when you have small children. The bath and bathroom in general - no comment, just look at the pictures. The food was average, but I didn't expected more The lobby bar didn't have really basic stuff, there are cocktails in the menu, but when asked bar tenders explained that they can not prepare them because they don't have the ingredients. It's a really sad picture to stand in front of a bar, and almost all the bottles displayed were empty. The kids' place is located opposite to reception, and at the event that the kids are being a little bit louder ( singing, drumming with the toys, or just playing and being kids - they are scolded for that, and required to keep silence.

Rodhopi Homme

The location was good, easy to find. Very nice and positive staff, smiling and friendly. Pool water was so warm, jacuzzi was really hot. It was cold outside but the hotel had central heating which was on, and it was so warm in the rooms. Near to hotel you can find good restaurants to eat delicious Rhodhopi meal. It was our first trip with our doggy, and we like it.

Food, it was almost same thing every day. Food was not tasty, so we had to order additionally from the menu for us. For half board and all inclusive no drinks were included. Drinks were overpriced. Only pool was working but not other spa facilities. I book massage, and had to wait 15 min for the room to be heated, otherwise the massage itself was really good. Additional bed for kids were uncomfortable, even we had apartment. My daughter asked to mention beds so much uncomfortable, so hotel takes some measurements.

Superb

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It made our stay in the hotel a real pleasure. The restaurant was wonderful and the food- traditional and very tasty.

The building is very good situated and planned, but needs to be regularly maintained to stay in good condition. The apartment was large and comfortable, but needs small repairs and better cleaning to stay in good condition.

There was a big group of children during our stay. They were extremely loud and rude. It is not the hotel's fault that the kids were horrendous, but it was very unpleasant stay.

The staff was friendly and the price was ok. We got an apartment and it was huge with 2 balconys, alot of space and good view

The pool facility looks a bit dated but its still ok. On the weekends there are alot of people but during the week its was great

The staff are professional and very kind. The hotel is very warm. The location and the views are excellent.

The facilities and the overall condition of the rooms were not 4 star. The spa becomes overcrowded on Fridays and Saturdays. The breakfast is nice but the restaurant dishes are not great. And better bring pillows.
