A very nice, clean, and spacious room with a bathroom and a balcony. The bed and mattress were very comfortable and there was enough space for our stuff in the cabinets. We also liked the decor. There was a kettle and cups in the hall so we could make ourselves some tea and coffee. The owners of the flat run a grocery shop on the square downstairs that is open very late at night so it was easy to buy something to eat and drink when we arrived late from the airport. Downstairs there is also a kiosk with hot and cold drinks at very reasonable prices so we could have a nice coffee in the morning there. The place is very good value for money. The location is very good, just a few minutes walk to the main pedestrian street and the famous Kapana district.
Unfortunately, the water drain was not working properly and water was leaking outside when we were taking a shower.
It was noisy at night.

The location was great, since the old town and many places to see where just over the river, walking distance. There are also many restaurants nearby, and a small playground / green territory right next to the building. Although a bit of a walk if you go to Plovdiv by train, definitely worth it - good price, good location, pleasant neighbourhood, dog friendly. We chose the double room with a terrace - although it was in shade, it was still nice.
There were no instructions on how to check in, we were confused upon arriving. It turned out that the check in desk is in the small convenience shop next to the building. We had to call someone to show us that (thankfully, the number was available there and the help arrived fast).
Once we went to pay for the stay there, the lady didn't speak English and could not understand at first what to do, and had to call the owner first.
It is also not super quiet in the room if someone is in the corridor - but not a lot of people seemed to stay on our floor, so there was not a lot of noise.
However, those were small things and didn't bother us.

Fab location and nicely decorated rooms.
The host is very attentive and did everything he could to accommodate our needs.
