The hotel and breakfast were great, very helpful staff and nice rooms
I specifically wanted (and booked accordingly) a hotel with parking. The hotel had a very limited number of spaces, none of which were ever available when I needed to park. Spent an extra half an hour each evening trying to find a pay and display spot to park vaguely nearby, then having to walk back to the hotel, crossing busy roads with a child to look after. Would have booked elsewhere had this been made clear before booking.

Location was perfect for exploring the castle and old town.
Motion sensor light in bathroom was a great idea. Nice to have a fridge and water provided.
Parking and spa were expensive extras.
€15 for parking overnight and €20 pp for just 90 mins in spa. We just wanted to use the pool not the spa.
No air con in room and no fan.
Small room. Glass door into the bathroom felt a bit odd.

I left my refrigerated medications behind and the staff was very helpful in retaining them and helping me qui9ckly retrieve them 2 days later. Really outstanding.
They were very helpful making room for on-site parking bvut more info about surropun ding parking options would have been helpful ahead of time.

It was OK. Not great, not bad, OK. Room was comfortable but forgettable, bathroom was small but functional, it was fine.
Couldn’t park, breakfast ok, room was expensive, but not awful.
