Good breakfast and parking facility. Accessibility to the hotel and rooms was good.

Inconsistent heating. Sometimes the heaters went out with no way to turn ik back on. And then after 30 min it suddenly jumps on again. Not a big deal, but a point of interrest

Revisiting Séjours & Affaires, like the location, central, safe car park, easy access even for late arrival/check in. Pleasant studio with kitchenette with fridge. Just enough to self catering breakfast, light lunch and take away meals.

The little fridge was a bit noisy at time. But realised there a was a door between kitchen and bedroom. When door is closed, can’t hear the fridge.

Favorite of mine to stay in Caen

Location, easy to get to from Ferry Port, even when arriving late at night with Self checking process . Central to walk down town with car safe in secure carpark.

Excellent stop for an overnight stay.

Room was modern, clean with all the conveniences that we required for an overnight stop, including a very comfortable bed. We also had an excellent breakfast with a wide variety of food to choose from. The lady receptionist who spoke excellent English was most helpful throughout our brief stay. Car parking was easy directly near property.

Exceptionally helpful staff who quickly returned an object I forgot in the room to me by post. I also valued the parking, convenient key code entry and location at walking distance from the centre.

There was an unpleasant smell of people cooking in the corridors (likely unsuficcient ventilation) and also the sink in the kitchenette and bathroom had an unpleasant sewerage smell.

Comfortable accommodation en route into Caen and close to ferry port.

The proximity to the ferry port was ideal for a late arrival. The information re key collection etc was excellent. The accommodation and breakfast good also.

Maintenance seemed a bit neglected: mirror light in the bathroom did not function, socket in the bathroom did not function, exhaust and light in the kitchen unit also did not work. On our last day the elevator was out of order

Perfect

A very warm welcome awaits. Secure parking at €3 per day. Very clean room and comfortable bed. An added bonus was that the hotel had a laundry room which we took advantage of. 20 minutes walk takes you to the old town where you will find excellent restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Absolute disgrace Poor customer service

I booked a premium double bedded apartment, and upon arrival was given a standard twin room. I tried several times to contact the reception desk on their 'emergencies' telephone number but nobody answered. I sent them two messages together with contacting Booking.com, and was given no response. I finally spoke to reception the next day, who simply told me that they couldn't always provide people with what they had booked. I explained that I had booked and paid for a premium room and not been given what they were contracted to supply me with. The customer service was non existent and they simply didn't care. The booking was for a special occasion and the night was ruined by the lack of ownership and management. The website advertising is completely false with this accommodation, as the pictures do not show you a true reflection as to what you are actually going to get.

A good base, but lacking in character and staff unhelpful

A good-sized room, with comfortable and useful furniture; good shower. On the edge of town, but still reasonably well located, very near the Abbaye des Dames, and a good base for walking into the old centre in about 15-20 minutes.

I never met any of the staff, as the reception desk seemed to be rarely manned, but they were totally unhelpful by email when I asked to leave my luggage ahead of check-in on the day of my arrival and I was told this was not possible. Location was quite good, but very much at one edge of the town, at least 30 minutes' walk from the station and up a steep hill and down a long road of modern flats. Room was functional, large and comfortable, but had no atmosphere. The electric cooker rings didn't work. The coffee machine did work, but no coffee or filter paper was provided.

As we checked in on a Sunday the reception was closed which was a problem for us as we didn’t have a phone that worked to call the number on the notice stuck on the reception door. We had to ask a passer by to borrow their phone to call the number. The passer by was very helpful, thankfully, so we were able to talk to the person that was responsible for the keys and he told us over the phone where they were. This was stressful. It would be better if the information of how to enter the accommodation was sent in an e mail, rather than expect the traveler to have a phone.
