Excellent staff great location good value

The staff was as good as any 5 star hotel without the obsequiousness. Very helpful & followed up on requests we made. Great location. Close to everything, including the 2 bus to The Memorial, chateau, the 2 abbayes, short walk or tram to train stations, shopping, restaurants. The facilities were spotless. Room was basic 3 stars with no pretense. Priced appropriately for the facility so good value. Simple breakfast served by helpful staff.

Good accommodation central Caen

The hotel is central, very close to the Chateau de Caen amd also close to a shopping area and a Printemps. Staff is fast and very efficient, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. The hotel has some parking places just behind its building.

Brillant!

The location is brillant as it sits right at the center of Caen, where the church and the castle are about 5 minutes walks! same goes for the best restaurants in town, and pubs!

Clean & comfortable hotel in a good location in Caen.

Very clean and comfortable. Quite modern. Friendly staff. Nice location close to the water and with plenty of places to go out in the evening.

The shower could use a little maintenance as the head had some blocked nozzles, but that’s a very minor issue.

Not a good value in Bayeux

Location in city center. Courteous and helpful reception. King bed. Bath robes. Good wifi. Nice bar.

Tiny room and tiny bathroom, almost claustrophobic. No body lotion. Chipped paint on sink counter. Steep staircase to climb wt luggages and no lift. High room prices. Breakfast costs 15euros but food quite passable quality and impersonal atmosphere. Room door design slam loudly every time guests close it. Very unpleasant and startling noise. Old facilities look depressing inside and outside, need serious renovations.

What a lovely hotel! Lovely staff who were so helpful, even when we had to change some plans abruptly, they did everything they could to help us. The location is absolutely perfect too. If you're staying in Caen for a break, this hotel is just perfect!

opposite an all night noisy kebab shop which is fine as the windows are really well sound proofed. not so good if the windows need to be open in hot nights

excellent quadruple room

Excellent, spacious and clean quadruple room. Very friendly and helpful staff. We then wanted to stay another night and ended up with 2 small doubles on 5th floor. Not nearly as good an experience. Sliding door to one of the bathrooms so limited privacy, shower head and soap dispenser needed sorting out.
