Great central location close to public transport, train stain and bus station, trans right outside
Great value for money

Breakfast was fine. Night Manager was very helpful and welcoming .
Very difficult to find, even though we found where the station was.

The staff was nice and arranged a calmer room for us. It was even possible to leave luggage after check out. The location close to the train station was convenient.
A little renovation would not hurt. The staff should also check if soap dispensers in the bathroom aren’t empty. The breakfast was rather poor, the coffee machine didn’t even work. The neighbourhood felt spooky.

The people working at the reception desk are wonderful and there is excellent bicycle storage.
*Whatever you do, avoid taking a room facing the street.* We stay in a lot of Ibis Budget hotels. This one is weird. There is a gambling bar next door, a truck parking location for deliveries, and both a tram and train station outside. It's loud and busy. In addition... People from the bar and transport stations come to the hotel and congregate loudly along the front of the hotel to access the hotel's free open wifi. People hang around day and night, playing music and talking so loudly sometimes it's like a party. The hotel has to keep its front doors locked all the time, so you have to walk through the people and push an intercom button to ask them to let you in. We had a room on floor 2, facing the street front. It was hard to sleep because of all the strange noises, which is surprising because we are both very heavy sleepers. We don't usually mind a bit of noise, which is why we were OK about booking a hotel near the tram.

The position was good as it’s near the bus station - I came by bus. It was clean and simple.
There was quite a bit of noise outside on the street late into the night and again at daylight. It was Saturday night, but having an open window (this was the way the unit was presented to me) exacerbated the problem.

It was just across the road from the railway station from which we had an early train so was ideally situated but…
Being a group of 3 women we felt a little uneasy about the people hanging around the area

It would be nice to be able to open the window more, gets quite warm in summer.

Location not very secure. Parking problematic.

The staff were friendly and kind
A gang of drug dealers hung out outside the (open) front door the entire evening and into the night. Mold in the bathroom. Noise from the dealers outside and due to thin walls you could hear people arriving well into the night.

We chose this facility because it had the IBIS brand, we would not have chose it if it did not come under the IBIS brand, we feel let down and do not trust the IBIS brand anymore
The accommodation smelt of cannabis and other drugs, the people outside the premises made us feel unsafe

A dump and a very dangerous area. Drugs and prostitution
He wanted cash upfront and didn't take credit card. We moved on to another respectable hotel.

Right across street from train station. Kinda seedy area wouldn't love it with kids but for adults its great. Baj the evening attendant is awesome! Set it us up with driver David for Normandy Beaches private driver which is only way we could have accomplished in one day.

Very close to the station, and the cleaning staff was very helpful.
The neighbourhood does not feel very safe, but this is true for all train stations at night.
5.0 / 10.0
It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was simple, if spartan looking
The design of the room was excessively simple. For instance it is not possible to get to the clothes hanger fitting without either climbing over one of the beds or else moving the bed
