I would stay there again if the room is not that tiny. Love the city Caen and food.

Love the location and the surroundings. Easy to get around for everything. Breakfast is decent, wish there are some vegetable options. Staff are helpful and kind.

The room and the bathroom are so small. We can barely move around. No drawers to put your clothes away. I am a petite woman, average height, feel really cramped there. I was not able to even properly wash my face in that tiny sink. We stayed outdoors most of the time though it was cold and windy. We stayed in the lobby area if we could because we just don’t like the tiny space of our room.

Great location for train travelers, good food and nice room

Easy walk to the train station with the tram on the street out front for travel to the Caen War Memorial Museum (2 Euros) and bus connections to Juno Beach (4 Euros). The locals were very friendly and helpful in explaining the bus system. Great breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant with reasonable prices. The room was quiet with a nice shower.

The room had a sloped ceiling on one side that required some bending over to get in one side of the bed.

Staff said we had two reservations for the same night. They provided no evidence of that, but made us pay double. Since it was 10:00 at night, we really had no choice but to give in to their extortion/

Comfortable and convenient stay

Clean comfortable room with a terrific bed and a fantastic shower. Also appreciated the nightlight in the bathroom and the very many electrical outlets for charging devices. The breakfast was wonderful with a wide selection (including unlimited fresh squeezed orange juice, which I’ve never before experienced). Most friendly staff. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the train station, and only about a 10 minute walk from the town center, so the location is incredibly convenient.

Very small and very overpriced room incl. breakfast for 3 people for 300,- EUR/night! Traveling over 30 years across the globe visited over 60 countries and hardly ever experienced such poor price/real value and services ratio. No proper table available in the room, no shelves for hygiena items, no case for clothing. No glasses or plexiglass cups available in the bathroom, just rubber containers bending in your hand when you tried to hold it. Shower with sliding floor when wet.

Good place for a short stay or stopover

Convenient location near the train station and close to the tram to the city center and bus from/to the airport, solid breakfast, very clean and smartly organised room (felt a bit small, so not for a long stay, but felt comfortable). Very friendly personnel at reception.

Sorry but it’s a no go , one expects a bit of comfort in a room

The hotel is super clean and the location is very good but the room was too small with hardly enough space to get on the bed . When using the toilet one has to sit sideways as the toilet is located against the wall . Wash hand basin is too small that one can hardly wash his face .

Room given to us was the smallest one on the fourth floor . And it’s extremely small and bed was very uncomfortable, with a very thin pillow one can hardly get a good night sleep. Also they never bothered to replace the coffee and milk on the second day . And why is only mint tea was placed in the rooms ?

Close to town centre. Comfortable room and bed. Next to a bakery which was good for breakfast. Staff were keen to share guidance on what to see and where to eat.

An excellent hotel as a base for exploring an interesting city.

The room was small but perfectly adequate. The breakfast was excellent, best of all it was included in the rate. The hotel was well located, within easy walking distance of some interesting restaurants. On street parking was available but was limited to 5 hours at a time. Underground parking was available nearby but essentially it served the supermarket and restaurants located above. It proved to be expensive for overnight parking.

I would go back!

I had a great time. The place is quite new and clean and the staff are all polite and nice. Very close to the Central station, so best location for my trip. I highly recommend and I would go back!

Booked a twin room, was given a family room, when the very not comfortable sofa bed was made the room was too compact and uncomfortable

When booking and receiving acknowledgement in requesting a twin room, that is what should be provided, not a matchbox room, when the sofa bed is made up

Big comfortable bed. All nicely refurbished rooms. Good shower. Very good breakfast. Quick access to city center and train station.

Rooms at the front of the hotel will suffer from some city traffic noise.
