Location

Dirty kitchen, basic items would help ie washing up liquid, scouter, surface cleaner and cloth. WS unable to clean dishes used as basics not provided.

Great central location with clean rooms and comfy beds.

Great central location, lovely ans clean, reasonable street parking, I took my 16 year old daughter ands her friend so having rhe separate bedrooms was perfect. The cooking facilities were basic bur adequate. Would 100% stay here again.

We stayed in the best room they had which had wonderfully big windows with great views. It is easy to walk everywhere.

Great location. Easy walking distance to all the sights and shops and particularly the station. We caught a train to Bayeux and back very easily. Reasonably priced.

I always like to have the luxury of a bath. But that wasn’t an option.

More than adequate!

Fantastic location, everything in the city centre is within a reasonable walking distance. Ideal as a base for visiting Normandy’s WW2 sites and other attractions. The hotel is positioned where it’s easily found after a good day out. Parking is slightly expensive but certainly worth the peace of mind.

I love the place to be perfectly honest. It’s my second stay here. I can’t fault the hotel. Pretty sure others could find fault but I don’t look any deeper than the, clean room, clean comfortable bed, shiny sparking spotlessly clean bathroom attitude.

Studio close to the Orne

Good sized studio. Beds ok. Kitchenette was good . Iron in room with ironing board. Location convenient for public transport. Free navette for city circle across the road. Not far from Caen Castle.

Access keycards kept not working so we couldn’t get into our room. We had to change them 5 times - every other day so we could get into the room. Power went off every time we tried to use hotplate. 10 euro to use washing machine but you have to ask staff to take you into room and you aren’t allowed to be there alone. A little awkward. Gym closed - no access. Our room was quite noisy from the traffic.

Difficult to warm-up the place

The studio was what I was expecting although it was very difficult to warm it up. Despite my several complains to the personnel in few occasions and their efforts (in theory) to turn on the heating system in my room, I didn’t manage to feel warm during my whole stay there. In addition, the cleaning of some parts of the bathroom could have been a bit better. Next time in town, I will try something different.

Very nice for a short stay, would not recommend for longer times.

Location was great, the city center is walking distance away. The kitchen was also very adequate including a dishwasher and the bathroom was very clean and nice.

The Wifi required you to make a new account every day and gave me a lot of complications. Secondly my room cardkey kept not working which meant that I had to restore it at reception several times. Lastly the front doors of the hotel close at 23:00 so after that you have to call the reception to come and open them for you whenever you are out past those times.

Affordable apart hotel near the train station and downtown

Great apartment room with a big, fully equipped kitchen. All appliances in perfect working order. Lots of space for your luggage and belongings. Ample bathroom and safe parking space. Very good location. Upon check-in guests receive a small box with dishwashing/kitchen cleaning utensils.

The detergent provided in the box is mainly water with traces of liquid soap and therefore rather useless. Clogged bathroom sink - it was partially fixed but did not work the following day. Also one of the bathroom lights went off the first night, all of which I reported to reception.

The Staff were exceptional, accommodated every request, offered great advice about where to get food late at night. Breakfast was delicious and substantial. Loads of choice and well explained upon first visit to the breakfast area. the rooms were very well laid out, with all the facilities you would expect in an Aparthotel

Excellent overnight stay.

Location was excellent. Centre of town, river view. Lots of trees and greenery which is unusual in the city centre. It was quiet with the windows closed, good air conditioning , room temperature great for sleeping.

We had to queue for about 30 minutes for the key - not great after a long journey.! We were also worried about our car, parked in the same street but the machine wouldn’t issue a ticket! Excellent overnight stay

Superb

Location close to the city center and markets. Parking was very good. Good location for exploring Normandy, but you need a car for that. Parking was a bit costly, 15eur since you have a parking arround on the street that is charged petween 7-19. So if you are out of Caen the most of the day that could be an option for parking, for a few morning hours that cost several eur, but the hotel's one is under surveliance and quite spacy. It was good for us when it comes to safety since we continued our tour, even though surrounding was quiet and nice. All you need from.kitchenware was there.

Everything was OK but our apartment was a little bit dark, only one window looking at inner atrium of building which wasn't so small, but we were on 2nd floor out of 5 and we missed a daylight, and window was a little bit dusty from outside. Since we were out from 10am to 9pm, that didn't bother us too much.. Outer oriented appartments have almost half of wall in windows. Beds were confy but not fixed to each other. The carpets had spots from bleeching chemicals in corridors, but that didnt affected to our stay but could decrease overall impression.

Staff we very good, spoke good english and very helpfull. Good secure car park and room was very good and well equipt.

Some english chaneels on tv would have been good had dutch and german but didnt expect any so no complaints really.

Nice apartment, good location

Well organized apartment in a very good location. It was clean and with everything needed for a few nights stay. The staff was very helpful in resolving an issue (created by myself by mistake) with the reservation. Thanks again!
