Breakfast seemed a little expensive, with no basic option The different recycling waste bins.. impossible to know what went in what bin. They are colour coded but if you are not from France you dont have a clue

The staff were very helpful to me about having some gluten free food at breakfast and I appreciated their attention to that. They are very responsive and friendly. The hotel is an easy flat walk from the train station. The rooms and bathroom are big for Europe and there is plenty of space. I even had an iron and ironing board and there is a laundry downstairs. It is very comfortable for a stay of several nights. The breakfast is good in a light filled room that looks out onto the canal.

The wifi works perfectly well but you often have to sign in again on return normally this is automatic.

The location was a plus, only 5-7 minute walk to the train/bus station and so much room for storage and moving around during a long or short stay. Even the bedside tables rolled into the storage beside the bed. The kitchen was very well stocked with a huge mini fridge. Good water pressure and room darkening drapes were very effective. The security code to get up on the elevator made us feel very safe though the are was not a problem. Close to a market and restaurants. We can’t say enough about the staff who made our stay easy and were so helpful, really loved the on site laundry. The internet can be a problem at times, you have to log in more than once.
