Location, dog friendly which was great, short walk to the beach and castle.
We hit at the hottest days of 2026 and the lack of AC was brutal.

The room was comfortable and cosy. The people running the place were friendly and just lovely. And their dogs were beyond adorable. The food was incredible and everything was just perfect for me and my partner. We booked Y Branwen on a whim and will definitely return when we come back this way

Location is good for walks to the beach (10 minutes thought the dunes). Restaurant meals were very nice. The bartender/receptionist/waiter (samen man) is very friendly and they love dogs here!
Room was adequate, nothing fancy and the curtains need to be changed to something fitting. Shower was low on pressure. TV is extremely small and non remote control to be found. Although the meals are very nice, I think they do not fit the establishment which could use an upgrade to look a bit nicer and fit more to the level of the food.
